solid pick, was rated pre draft.

sounds like Jordan Houlahan high flying medium forward.

Day-Wicks is a Richmond supporter and idolises the likes of Dustin Martin – a fellow Bendigo Pioneers product – and Liam Baker. Although, he models his game on Isaac Heeney for the most part, sharing similar aerial ability and a knack for the mercurial as a midfielder-forward. From what he has shown, a spot in attack is where he thrives the most.

Maybe less Houlahan and more Heeney.
He better be less Houlahan :p

Some of us have Big footy accounts older than these kids ...

The clear knock on him is not ability but more along the lines of consistent output . He can have a Jake Stringer type output chart where the best is very good but the worst is very bad. He can also be like Stringer in front of goal. Great one week and like a backman the next week. Unlike Jake he is a very good mark. Had a few injury issues early this year. Will be an interesting watch for sure.

My 17 year old account has no chance of being drafted or even looked at by any form of scout or draft guru. It’s the sort of account that loyally turns up to training weekly only to be on the bench or a reserve on match day, bringing out the oranges at halftime.

Can he give us Stringer’s 40-odd goals next year? That would be handy.

I’m gonna call him Derek or X as his surname also sounds like Tom Derickx and I’m a space cadet like that.

Gee really really like what im seeing in those highlights

Know their highlights and he was known as a bit of a highlight type player

But his decision making looks very good and then executes by skill aswell. His hands look very good on the leads with some fast heavy balla coming in aswell. Obviousily has that power that i think will really come on (gonna e a thumping kick)

Love the ear ring, celebrations, bit of swagger get in the face type about him. Confidence is bloody important

His type dont really occur at AFLs modern, with the angus mongries hit up half forwards, not sure on his pressure and true crumbing, doesnt seem his one wood. So that looks his challenge and he will be asked of consistent performances at VFL to get a call up, not a flashy 10 disp 2 goal game each week id imagine

from my understanding injuries and consistency in games are the two biggest short comings for ADW
