A lot of thought needs to go into Cam for next year.

Probably not as agile as De Goey, but he's seriously in that conversation if he'd develop a tank and play more midfield minutes.

As things are, he blows up a bit too much. Maybe a midfielders pre season might sort that out.

As good as the parts of his game are, he is a quandary because he doesn't really play tall enough to be a genuine third tall nor is he blistering enough to be a slick crumbing type.

Would have been pretty special in the 80's and 90's though.
Really? That fend off was brilliant, Dusty and Cunners would have been proud of that one, in fact Latrell Mitchell, Maika Sivo and the other NRL big backs (and forwards) would have been excited with it as well.

In a more successful side he'd be a 40+ goal mid sized forward.

Have no doubt he has more to give, but a lot of it comes back to what our midfield is doing.

Still on track for another 30 goal season which is nothing to be sneezed at especially when he has played a bit more midfield.

We were better in the middle after he went in there.
We've got his spot in the forward line thoroughly covered with Thomas - Harvey - George - Stevo - Curtis.

Z needs to be told to get De Goey on the phone and work out exactly how he turned himself into a contested midfielder looking to deliver the ball into F50, and then snag the odd goal on the run when it's there for him.

He's on the right track. This year he's ranked equal 13th for ave. inside 50s at 1 per game. Probably with 15 other players but he's actually improved his ranking this week. His average was 0.9 something last week. Last year he and four other guys were 251 in the comp. In 2021 he and 10 players were ranked 252.

In 2021 he and 4 others were ranked 218 averaging 2.35 inside 50s per game and last year his ave of 2.63 per game was good enough for 170, along with Joe Danniher. This year he's on his own in 22nd spot averaging 4.87 per game and that went up this week as well. (De Goey's 12th with 5.58 per game.) He's averaging more rebound 50s than ever before too. Not that many that its worth quoting tho. LOL.

Those stats back up what I see watching games - him working harder and getting more ball up the ground and creating opportunities for team mates as a result. Even the shot he missed on the run I'd cut him a little slack with cos of how often he's done the right thing in the last two months.

I meant to say yesterday, we were seated next to the interchange yesterday and I swear I saw one of our players get pissed off because Bull interchanged himself on when they were waiting to go onfield.

Chad move

It was very funny.

I also saw another player scream "we don't know which way the f***ing ball is going into our forward line" as they came off so I hope people realise these guys are hurting.
