Again, I don't want to spell out the obvious but you are new around here. This is a place people come and discuss footy issues. However, they also come here to let their "hair down" and have a laugh. Posters generally don't take everything others have posted seriously. It is a genuinely funny place to be but we also share some good information and debate things about the club intensely. Yes, you are correct. It is not a place for political correctness. Some are childish and others are serious. We have all sorts here. You learn to accept the fact that we are all different but at the same time all have equally important things to say. I don't know how old you are but I hesitate to say I am way older than you. Just as in life, you learn to live and accept all sorts as long as they are not hurting you directly. You don't have to agree with them. You just tolerate them. If you wish, there is a report button if you find a post offensive. The moderators will then look at that post and deal with it. That is the right way to go about it.

Anyway, welcome. Take it from a old bugger, life's too short to be too serious.

I appreciate the amount of time and effort you've put into this AT. What a shame it's a pile of patronising steaming.
Sorry but I don't tolerate racism, particularly the casual variety when its all backslappingly defended as just the way things are. I will call it out when I see it or hear it whether anyone likes it or not.

FYI I did come here to discuss footy issues. I'm not THAT bloody new. Sorry to have piddled where 'da boys' come to let their hair down. What anybody says in their own home amongst their mates is their own business.

But if you come online in an open forum and drop racist bombs like they are just part of the vernacular and don't think it's going to offend anyone, well maybe you are new to the internet. Someone is gonna call it.

I will take one piece of advice. The report button. So thanks for that. It might help me avoid bringing Jurassic Park to my doorstep. Or in NZTiger's case, Western Plains Zoo. (That's a reference to my Ostrich post. No offence NZ - I'm paraphrasing but AT says we should just accept what people say in here with good humour). No offence mate. Don't get all mock outraged.

Hmm Political Correctness. Wikipedia describes it as "language intended to avoid offence or disadvantage to particular groups in society". How shocking a thing to be politically correct. To have some actual manners. To actually be respectful to someone else, even though they are from a different cultural background. Not very Australian now is it !

But thanks for the advice AT. I will file it right next to groupies essays on how to keep the glass ceiling intact. In the sh%#er.

I'll shut up now. :D
