With these Hitler/Trump comparisions the reason they are made are:

1. There ARE a lot of similarities from 1920s and up to 1933 Hitler, and how they tried to obtain power, and the methods they used to do so.
2. There are many other more recent people he is similar to like a Milosevic or an Orban currently in Hungary. Thing is a lot of the MAGA people are dumb and don't know history or current world events so don't even know who these people are.

He is more similar to a Milosevic in that neither of them gave a shit about hating other races/nationalities etc it was just a way they saw worked in order to gain power.

Also the bad things these leaders have done in the past happened over time, so people were able to normalise it, their propaganda machine found ways to justify it, and the same thing would happen again. Come back here in 4-5 years and 10 million immigrants have been deported or detained etc you will have a lot of people saying this would never happen justifying it, and nothing worse will ever happen and is overblown.

Then on and on it goes. If Trump and MAGA get their way of authoritarian rule, you get rid of any checks and balances and all bets are off.

True that he had to listen for instructions and work for 15 minutes and all the customers had to be vetted and basically the store was closed besides the apron did not wear gloves and other things needed.
The customers basically got given what he was instructed to put into an empty bag.
Tough Day that.

Agreed. Not sure if none of the world wars would be happening if he was in charge, I would prefer him in the chair to Harris if things kicked off though, again you only have two choices as you point out.
