Why I prefer trump to any of the othe presidents in my memory is the simple fact that the media set him up for wars with all of North Korea , Syria, Venezuela and Iran during last term, and he made moves each time to descalate. That’s the real reason the media and thier owners in the military industrial complex hated him. If he took the lay up and went to war he gets a totally different run with the media, and all the zombies that follow the msm would love him.

There are valid criticisms and concerns to have around the media, big pharma and the military industrial complex but to suggest Donald Trump and the Republican Party is best placed to push back against them is laughably naive. They are even more 'deep state' than the Democrats.

The assasination attempts give him some credibility as a non deep state actor. The media’s handling ( forget asap) is bad in terms of gaining traction, but is telling in terms of who was behind it.

He also dropped more drone strikes in his first 2 years in office than Obama did in 8, god knows what he ended up with coz he nixed the rules around reporting. Framing him as some kind of dove is a bit of a stretch imo.
