Fair enough. I’ll exit and let the echo chamber do it’s thing, and will read on happily when the Americans select the obviously better candidate in two weeks
It's 1 week.

And yes, the obvious answer to someone questioning your ability to provide facts and substance with your claims, is to pretend like you're being silenced and continuing to repeat simple assertions over and over.

Jill Stein is also running for her third time, just like Donny.

Nader ran 3 times.
Pat Paulsen :thumbsu: maybe a half dozen?

An alignment of government and media to influence an election, gaslighting for 3.5 years that an obviously senile guy was fit to serve , pushing an experimental vaccine on everybody and persecuting anyone who won’t take it, refusing to use diplomacy over Ukraine leading to a horrible war, attempts to prosecute Trump( trump could have prosecuted Hilary but chose not to cos that’s undemocratic ). And this latest genocide has no parallels it's basically a mass trauma event since the horror of dead children, orphans crying for parents etc is broadcast over social media in a way that’s never been seen before. The massive use of bots is pretty crazy, as is the extremism that’s been promoted even by sites like this one is pretty disturbing.
yet got more done, that did more for average Americans
not bad for a senile guy. :winkv1:

You are either extremely gullible or extremely dishonest. You keep posting things that are simply untrue. It is complete bullshit to say that "trump could have prosecuted Hilary but chose not to cos that’s undemocratic".

Walk me through how one deports 11 million people.

Maybe one might need a special solution, might need a name….
... without creating a recession. Especially while you're also putting up a giant tariff wall that would wreck the economy on its own.
If Trump actually believes in this crap he is truly the stupidest person ever to run for president, let alone fluke a term in the office.
If not, he is still the most criminal, incompetent, etc.

And also that the Democrats "weaponised the Justice Department" like what happened to Hilary about Benghazi or Ken Starr's investigation into a property deal and suicide of a friend of Bill Clinton which took four years and ended up enquiring about sex in the White House (which doesn't seem relevant to a property deal or suicide). WHat a coincidence that Brett Kavanaugh worked for Ken Starr and now sits on the Supreme Court.

But it's the Dems who weaponised the Justice Department, even though Trump was found guilty of a felony?

I reckon the Puerto Rico joke and Trump not backing away from it might have cost him the election. I reckon a lot of Latino voters might have held their nose and voted Trump, but not now. Particularly bad in Pennsylvania, which is still the critical keystone state.

And what makes you think this, the vibe?

The pandemic was a test of the social contract, are we willing to make sacrifices to help other people. For too many people, the answer was no, going out was more important than whether some people lived and died. What a shiteful indictment that is on those people.

It also exposed the idiots among us, those that thought doing 'their own research' online trumped the combined experience of infectious disease experts. Here we are years down the track and the vaccine hasn't been exposed as poison and is still recommended to ward against COVID.
Reminds me of the VP debate where JD Vance said something along the lines of we should ignore the experts because they’ve been wrong too often and just use common sense to make decisions. I was surprised he didn’t get much criticism for that. Common sense would be to listen to the experts and then make a judgement based off common sense.

Are you being deliberately disingenuous or are you just poorly informed?

There are hundreds of accounts by people who worked for him and decent political journalists of how his worst intentions were kept in check by the guardrails of democracy & people who refused to break the law/constitution on his behalf.

This time he & his billionaire/fundamentalist backers are much better prepared to dismantle the checks & balances.
Here’s just a few of what those closest have said about him…

WHAT 17 OF TRUMP’S ‘BEST PEOPLE’ SAID ABOUT HIM

Rex Tillerson is my favourite “ He’s a f**king moron!”

They don't even have a weird conspiracy theory to fall back on. It's just hate and racism now. They have edged their fans closer and closer to the far right, but now they aren't hiding it behind the weird Q shit.

2015/16 they were actually reposting memes they had edited to be less obviously anti-Semitic.

It's all out there now. Years of pushing great replacement theory and trying to look like there were facts behind their hate, now they've just gone ham on it in official public events.
Was watching a video of a young bloke interviewing attendees outside MSG and the racism was clearly on show. Apparently the democrats are trying to replace the white race and Trump is their saviour. DonOld has truly brainwashed them and appealed to their worst instincts.

Don't know if he gets this started IF he wins.

But it will be part of sociology studies for 1,000s of years if it happens.
Just imagine the political chatter worldwide and the endless political commentary on TV.

TBH it's always been about race, we knew that. From day one. People seem to be admitting it now.

Grievance politics isn't about solutions. Indeed, it's the opposite.

It's about stoking an issue to keep your base riled up.

It used to be abortion for the Republicans until the dog caught the car, and it's the same with Dutton and his nuclear fantasies here.

It'll be like "build the wall".

He has no intention of doing it, he just wants to complain about immigration and he's made up an unrealistic solution. Underneath it all, it's just an excuse to blame poor immigrants for the fact that the top 1% have hoarded all the wealth and want to continue to do so. And it's enough for racists and shallow thinkers to blame immigrants for their problems.

And for what purpose do you believe this was done? Wasn’t the theory at the time it was to have totalitarian rule over us?

Kind of proven to not be the case hasn’t it?
It shouldn’t have been done at all, because anybody with half a decent immune system had nothing to worry about.

What’s shameful is the countless people who attempted to guilt good people for not wanting to give up their freedoms, and mysteriously used the term “selfish” despite it being the other way around. Expecting millions to give up their freedom because a select few were at risk is one of the most selfish things imaginable.

Years on and they still won’t admit they were wrong

Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

Past indicators suggest a red-run USA is better than a blue-run USA.
You are so WRONG!

Read more, following all better with Democrats.

Job growth better
Unemployment lower
Economy growth
Manufacturing jobs higher
Manufacturing investments higher

Of the 11 recessions that have occurred in the modern (post-World War II) era, 10 of them have occurred under Republican presidents.
Republican presidents often inherit strong economies and leave their successors with significantly weaker economies. For example, President George W. Bush inherited a strong economy from President Bill Clinton, and his presidency ended with the Great Recession. President Donald Trump inherited the longest continuous run of job creation in modern U.S. history from President Barack Obama but became the first president in the modern era to oversee net job losses during his term. There were 2.7 million fewer Americans employed when President Trump left office than at the beginning of his term.

I suspect this would solve a lot of his problems.

Read more, from sources that aren't whatever corner of the internet he's found himself finding things in.

The LNP has tricked people here in to think they're better economic managers despite pretty consistently being worse when it's actually looked at.
