This is incredibly important apparently. No game as a young man.

They're going to ram him through anyway after all this. They're so brazen about not caring when it's their side.
Will be confirmed quickly - its too close to the midterms for any Republicans to go rogue. This is politicking from both parties for the midterms (in b4 people say this was only the Democrats).

Doesn’t need to be completely fake just need a situation where both parties present and intoxicated becomes a he say vs she says. It is enough for mud to stick in this type of situation (nomination for office in the Puritan states of America). Agree not the same as criminal proceedings
That's not as simple as it sounds though.

This story has legs because of a huge number of reasons. She's a dr, which gives her story credibility, and there's plenty of people corroborating that he drank alot as a teen and it's not a stretch that a guy like him could do something like this.

Rape apologist to rape enthusiast, what a dynamic. Welcome to Trump's America, what a f***ing shithole.

More BS. Kavanough's background suggests he is more likely a Jesuit indoctrinated mummy's boy than a Jesuit indoctrinated frat boy, Gough.

Ford had the misfortune to spend her puberty and adolescence in a (independent exclusive private school) and experienced the culture and indifference of parents in full.
Duty of care NOT.

Kavanaugh appeared to lead a very sheltered upbringing into his 20s. An only child, idolised by his lawyer parents.

Thinking back to my and friends 15 year old selves it would have been Mark Judge we would have been fancying.

Graham is on the same drugs as Trump. She hadn't even finished testifying before he started ranting.

The only decent person from their side was the prosecutor until the last break then she tried to change but not that much, she had ethics.

No way would I report just to be their political football.
Glad you mention the female prosecuter i thought it was a good move from the first few rounds that i watched.
Instead of using 10 republicans attacking her they used Mitchell instead..i think the Republicans got that one right.
Even Fox was saying that she isn't landing any punches at the start and that the Republicans are losing the battle. But i liked the way Mitchell went about it

Fill me in if things changed as i didn't watch it all just had a quick read on all the events.
I didn't believe that Ford would end up testifying so she proved me wrong there.

Yes, well, things did change. The Republicans realised Mitchell wasn't gaining them any Brownie points, so they did away with her when it came to questioning Kavanaugh.

Allies of President Donald Trump had soured on Mitchell doing all the questioning for Republicans. Back at the White House, the feeling was similar. Mitchell's methodical and calculated approach does not exactly illicit high ratings.

Mitchell was pretty consistent. After the last break, she tried to get more but nothing really.

It would be interesting to get her views on what she thought after questioning but not going to happen.

Ok thanks so Mitchell was meant to ask Kavanagh the questions but Republicans changed tactics. I'll have a read.

Mitchell did the Judge's questions for the first half then Lindsay got the gig followed by the others.

Lindsay's job was to kick start the momentum for the Judge's confirmation vote. The stark absence of supporting evidence for Ford made it obvious by then that the Dem's putsch had failed.

Graham has his own reasons for going hard now. He is trying to win back the trump vote after unsuccessfully trying to break it previously

I'd respect him more if he was a man of his convictions rather than one trying to win back supporters he once spurned

Yep, disingenuous piece of crap. He's been talking shit about Trump for the past 3 years then suddenly he tries to fly the flag.

This one's for both yebiga & Werewolf.....Time to wakey, wakey up to the BS fellas.

That's actually a pretty good video and I'd agree with 90% of it. The criticism of Iran is certainly harsh (although they do bring some problems on themselves), being too friendly with Israel and the Saudis is somewhat concerning, but I suspect Trump's trying to deal with enemies piecemeal rather than take them all on at once. That might mean letting them get away with murder for now. As I've said before, Trump won't invade Syria or Iran.

But I understand your point of view and you may turn out to be right. BTW surely you know how to tag by now? ;)

Trump had 2 ports of call immediately upon being elected: Tel Aviv & Riyadh….Alarm bells right there, from the get-go.

Kyle's not so bad & I like the way he goes about it.

Tagging is not my forte, though you got round to it eventually all the same.:p

That's what Trump did BEFORE his election.

Then when evidence came out about interference, he didn't want to hear about it.

I don't know what you are reading but it doesn't appear to be related to the facts in any real way.
Chief we were talking about the mid terms
No need to get uppity
it's not like anything has changed or anyone has got hurt. Just arseholes being aresholes.
