He French fried a few times when he should’ve scissored, and that was probably the majority of his errors. Definitely looks promising… looked like he could play forward too

After getting beaten in the first quarter it was impressive to see him go for his marks and clunk a few intercepts. Sign of a head strong player. Was good for the rest of the game and was stiff to be subbed, he was definitely upset about it.

I know we needed some run by why not take off a Mansell/Campbell/Cumberland who were having 0 impact? At least Blight was thwarting attacks.

I hope you are right. Would love to see the backline able to be constructed around Miller, Balta, Blight and Gibcus. A few more years for Vlas and then a youngster (e.g. Banks) stepping up to fill the last spot. This assumes Riolo goes to the Suns and we find another spot for Short.

Dumb decision, our use of sub is crap , there were several players <3p at half time , get em off and give banks ago , no we give him 25min and he gets more pos than several who played 4q

I thought that was strange too, I know we lost a tall forward but surely you would've been better off letting Blight float around and take intercepts as a third tall, something that he was great at with Peel

I hope they may have subbed him if they felt he may have been physically cooked towards the end of his second match. Otherwise think they could have tried something else.
He was beaten a few times, but he's learning at AFL level so it's going to happen at times.
The good thing was he didn't drop his head but battled on and you can't ask any more than that

Yze has no idea how to use the sub. We might need to hire a specialist to figure it out for him

Was the obvious sub to anyone with half an idea.

I feel confident Blight is diamond in the rough, in 2 games has shown more than quite a few high drafted players and cost zero being mid season draft. Has physical size and pace if he does not play 100 games I will eat my hat
