How old is kyle hardingham???
Hey guys
i saw that on the essendon website they added the rookies and kyle on to the player list. But i got a big fright when i saw something on the website.
The essendon website has kyle being born on 25/2/1983 this would make him 26 turning 27 next year(http://www.essendonfc.com.au/team/player.asp?id=141#profile)
but on the afl page they have him being born on 1/9/1988 which would make him 21. (http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/86991/default.aspx)
Now the youtube footage makes him look young but the essendon website picture has him looking old. Did they make a mistake on the essendon website or is the afl website wrong. Could somebody please explain it. Is it that they put skipworths DOB down or something else.

21, his 2009 WAFL club has his correct DOB:

Obviously the Essendon website has succumbed to the dreaded data entry error.

they also had ben howlett down as 22 on efc website but he is also 21.

I know it's only the NAB Cup, but based on tonight's game, he isn't ready for senior football. Looks very fragile, timid, shanks a kick and has the fumbles.
Hopefully he proves me wrong.

I do agree, he did fumble and looked lost at times.
However, i thought he got to the right spots, his first 2 attacks on the footy were good and hopefully it was just 1st game jitters.
Didn't think it was too bad.

I do agree, he did fumble and looked lost at times.

He did Ok considering he came on as a second half substitute.
His attack on the ball is fine, he was prepared to back himself and run to the contest, and his reading of the play seemed to be acceptable.
Go back to the NAB Cup 2009 and one M.Hurley come on as a second half substitute and got cut up by J.Anthony ( not comparing Hardingham to Hurley of course ) but suggesting that it can be difficult to play your first game as a second half substitute.
I am of the opinion that kicking under pressure may be an issue - I expect him to play 10-15 games.
