Has gone pretty under the radar, but 12 touches, 9 marks, 4.1 against Carlton yesterday.
Weid is not firing. You can argue if he stays in the team or not, but he is not firing. I assume he will keep his spot for the time being, but if Hunter can show he can lead up to the wing and take a relieving mark, than he has a big chance of getting in the team.Bring himWhere does he fit now, with Wright Weideman Stringer & Langford all firing? Quickly gone from bare cupboard to looking okay
No goals for 3 weeks for Weideman. 26yo and has never shown he’s good enough for the level. Feel Scott will leave him in for a few weeks but realistically can see Hunter coming in for himWeid is not firing. You can argue if he stays in the team or not, but he is not firing. Kicks like a mule. Not quite Scotty Lucas, but still.
Fish?Name one? Surely not. Don't remember anything special about Hurley kicking at goal.
I thought he's taking a few good marks and created chances, kicking letting him downWeid is not firing.

Not so much the action but the result.Leg swings like a pendulum?
Yep. First rounders are one thing, but nailing these is gold.its gonna be funny if he's really good
Duz, Snelling, Menzie, Martin, Mass, Hunter
our MSD/SSP strike rate is rather good.
I wouldn't be against giving him a couple more VFL games while Wright and Weideman see how their chemistry builds. You almost take him on his kicking alone. You only need to look at the liability McKay and Curnow are when they should be jewels in the crown at Carlton. If he can learn AFL running patterns for a forward, and our midfield continues to develop, he should get in the end of a few and you’d be more than confident of 2-3 goals a week. He’s already shown that he has some forward craft.
Think he will need a few more games . Do not want to set him up to fail like we did with Baldwin last year. He has to be ready.Bring him in.
Yeah I meant ‘take him’ as in a drafting sense rather than take him to WA to play Freo. If you’re a recruiter, that kick is massively appealing. If we drafted him largely due to his kicking ability then that’s very reasonable relative to the issues poor kicking at goal brings to a team’s morale.I wouldn't be against giving him a couple more VFL games while Wright and Weideman see how their chemistry builds.
ant555 said his in first VFL game Hunter struggled a bit to find space to lead as it was more congested than what he was used to in the WAFL. Sounds like last weekend was a decent improvement but give him a couple more games to adjust further as by comparison there will be no space in the AFL.
If we win a flag with this group surely Dodo will get his own Stan Original Production version of Moneyballits gonna be funny if he's really good
