But some on here would trade him for the lad from Freo , god help us2 goals a game. Would be winning the goal kicking if he didn't miss games on that average.
one scoreless game, v Geelong.
But quietly improving, reads play so well, great on a lead, needs more strength in one,on ones, but hopefully stays fit and finishes a good development year.
Smart player
Yep barring the injury it has been a fantastic year for loganSaid before the start of the season woukd be happy with a 30 goal season and looks well on track to eclipse that
Why was Gerard Healy on commentary during the Eagles game, so keen on seeing us play McDonald off half back ? Was he just bored with the state of the game
I've noticed Healy tends to refer to his inside scoops from the club when he's commentating Swans games. He quite often leaves little nuggets of information in his calls. Maybe half back is a position McDonald's played in a bit at training as part of his development as a half forward (like the old Clarkson method) and so it was something Healy maybe wanted to see for himself. Why was Gerard Healy on commentary during the Eagles game, so keen on seeing us play McDonald off half back ? It wouldn't have surprised me in the slightest if we had tried to make Logan into a KPD. Similarly, during Buller's first VFL game or during the MSD it was mentioned he'd played in defence in high school, and I thought "here we go".I've noticed Healy tends to refer to his inside scoops from the club when he's commentating Swans games. Or maybe he was just being daft.
Yeah you never quite know. I guess the fact that we used a pick 4 on McDonald because of his performances as a key forward made me never really doubt that he'd be a key forward. As opposed to say Tom McCartin, or Buller, who were less rated for a particular craft and more so for just being talented talls, which means the potential to have them at either end is always there. It wouldn't have surprised me in the slightest if we had tried to make Logan into a KPD. Not everyone can be a McCartin. Playing as a developing, promising key forward then moving to defense due to an injury and being too ****ing good at it to ever move awayGiven his current form and trajectory it boils my blood a bit to think of him as a defender
But I sure as s**t know what's going to pop up if he's down on form
Did have one of those Did I Really Hear That moments when I heard that. Put down to him thinking he was calling a different game. Why was Gerard Healy on commentary during the Eagles game, so keen on seeing us play McDonald off half back ? Was he just bored with the state of the game
I can't imagine a deal will get done until at least midway through next year. Logan's manager will probably be banking on a cracking preseason over the summer to set up Logan's first half of the season and use it to leverage maximum return. For what it's worth I'm quite confident that Logan wants to stay with the Swans but it's just whether or not our offer is attractive enough to stave off the likes of West Coast and Freo if they throw the kitchen sink at him.Yeah can we just lock him into a 5 year extension now please.
We cannot possibly go into 2024 without a deal done and the weekly scuttlebutt of him going back to WA.
Rumour has it that Westcoast will throw kitchen sinks at both Naughton and English.. I hope they do because I dont think they have more than two kitchen sinks, making Logan and our WA crew a bit safer.I can't imagine a deal will get done until at least midway through next year. Would depend how many kitchens they haveRumour has it that Westcoast will throw kitchen sinks at both Naughton and English.. I hope they do because I dont think they have more than two kitchen sinks, making Logan and our WA crew a bit safer.
Freo just got Jackson and have a fair few young guns so not sure how many kitchen sinks they have either??
They can just take a trip to bunnings if they run out of sinks. No biggie.Rumour has it that Westcoast will throw kitchen sinks at both Naughton and English.. I hope they do because I dont think they have more than two kitchen sinks, making Logan and our WA crew a bit safer.

Have you seen the sinks that they stock? Would be lucky to get Paddy Dow with the sh*t they sell. They can just take a trip to bunnings if they run out of sinks. No biggie.

But yes, its not hard to get a decent sink
Most accurate set shot in the league.
