You'd think his off-season would be one primarily adding more muscle to his frame so he can consistently compete in aerial contests. His skills are sublime. Not a lot of key forwards at his age I've seen have been as clean below his knees as Logan. His hands are beautiful in how he gets handpasses away to teammates and his kicking skills are also quality. He's a good runner, knows how to time his leads, and is typically a good set-shot. If he can just add the ability to consistently be strong in the air, either taking contested marks (which we have seen him do, mind you) or just to bring balls to ground, he'll be tracking beautifully. He'll have bigger bullocking guys next to him for some time now in McLean, Amartey, and Buller too so he just needs to be able to compete well when given the opportunity - the side shouldn't need to be force-feeding him long, high I50's.

Bit of heat in this thread

Absolutely spot on, it’s all about building strength and bulk to the upper body and to start to fill out.

This will help him clunk marks and be a bigger danger.

The rest of his skill set have been brilliant, great hands, touch and usually (apart from missing Hayward on the outside v Blues) decision making is on point. Takes the right option.

Thing I like is that he seems a natural footballer with good balance and a nice range of skills. Fits in well with his teammates, bounced back really well from being dropped for a grand final, seems keen to learn and improve. He's calm and collected. A very promising young man all round.

I was pleased he kicked his set shot against Carlton. Definitely wasn't a difficult shot. But you could feel the tension as he lined up for goal. We've seen many instances where a player lines up in that position and shanks it under the pressure of a big game. That was a very promising sign for me. It's also difficult for a player to get the monkey off their back once they develop a history of missing gettable set shots in key games (McKay as an example).

yeah, for sure ... he seems a really level-headed, decent young bloke

Just call things as they are.

Wouldn’t be great to lose 2 players through the PSD for no return

Hawks have little choice other than to accept what is offered

What do you dispute about this ?

You know you're running out of content when you are running with the 'sky is really falling' gag when we lose two third rounders (likely for two third round picks) who played <20 games this season.

You really jumped the shark this episode. I want the old Red Bull back.

sexy happy days GIF

I understand mate and you'll find most supporters are quite reasonable about that.

There seems to be a substantial bias in your post history towards that of being Hawthorn related. It's quite obvious and reeks of petulance for prior grievances. What those grievances are I'm trying to put my finger on.

This is like North coming for Heeney and Mills for huge $$$ and stuffing up salary cap space

I really hope we keep Logan but the feeling is that Freo might offer him 900k+

He doesnt have 900k+ output
OK. We'll take their first round pick and Caleb Serong (who we should have got anyway) and call it quits.
Maybe add Brayshaw as well.

Of course they want him. McDonald will be told not to sign cause if his output increases he can get more

If I was him, regardless of whether or not I 100% wanted to stay in Sydney, I would delay contract til next year.

Back yourself in to increase you value and then sign
