He didn't do a heck of a lot for his cause in his limited senior chance , far less than petterd or Newman has produced if indeed they are relevant to lennons development

He started against melb wasn't it and was subbed out , he s done FA that's just on face value and worse still recently has done very little at vfl,

Now you're gonna say it's up to him to force Newman out. I'm going to counter and say there are blokes who have played just as bad as Lennon and been spared the axe. Newman being one of them.

He s got to,play well at vfl, appear in the best at least , that's a reasonable expectation

We don't reward the best in the vfl as we don't always drop the worst at senior level

Lennons year so far:
Round 1: 22 disposals 7 handball receives 5 marks (2 contested marks) 2 tackles 2 goals 3 behinds
Round 2: 15 disposals 4 handball receives 5 marks (2 contested marks) 5 tackles 2 goals 1 behind
Round 3: Played seniors
Round 4: Travelling emergency in Tassie
Round 5: 17 disposals 7 handball receives 3 marks 2 tackles 1 goal
VFL averages: 18 disposals 6 handball receives 4.3 marks (1.3 contested marks) 3 tackles 1.6 goals.
Hardly what you'd call poor performances and as for not appearing in the bests, the VFL side names 3 AFL listed and 3 VFL listed players each week. C.Ellis Castagna Thomas Hampson McBean & Vickery have all performed better than Lennon. So while Lennon isn't getting named in the bests it doesn't mean that he isn't performing the role asked of him.

Agree. I'd be surprised if he was much under 83-85kg. I know from speaking to Conner that he'd put on 4-5kg but was drafted at 69kg. Unsure how often those stats are updated...
Lennon is the only one who is over 100kg
Only issue is that he has been thrown into the fray and shown that he is shit scared . He was good enough at TAC level to have some impact at AFL Level , but to date he has been woeful when tried .
He trained a week with us as some tac players do. Also nepotism isn't just because they did work experience at a company.
Hasn't shown a 60% CP rate at AFL level yet.

I just think Richmond supporters have been conditioned to our first round picks coming straight into the team because simply, there was no-one else to play. Lennon might be one of those blokes who needs to spend some time in the magoos to develop before he is fully ready for senior footy. He might or might not make it but reserve your judgement until the 50 to 100 game mark.
He looks heavier than 77kg's.
