He made one tackle that showed the required intensity tonight.

He should be doing that sort of thing all game every game.

Agree - the move has to be made at year end. Taz to captain.

Jack is an unlucky player in terms of his timing - his attack on the player and ball is elite - its just 20 years too late in terms of what the AFL will allow now.

Unfortunately he has nothing much else to fall back on - he has peaked in terms of his contribution to the side and we need to start thinking about what else he can do. He has a contract to 2020 or 2021? - i just cannot think of what sort of contribution he will be making to the senior side in those years.
 
His slowness is a massive concern. What is it, his buggered legs? Has he built himself up too much? I have no doubt he is one of the strongest guys in the league, really knows how to flatten someone, but in patches he reminded me of petrie last night. Slow petrie from last year.

Regargless, it is a joke to play him in the centre. He can still take a mark and is a good shot at goal. Must be up forward.

i wouldn't say the least of our problems - our captain who we are trying to find a spot in the team for? Mid, forward, back, all 3?

I think its a real issue - JZ is a great leader of men but his output as a mid wouldn't put him in the top 30 mids in the comp.

Try him as a permanent forward? Well yes - lets try it, but will he chase, he is quick enough at ground level, can he outwork a KPD, will he do the hard yards that forwards need to do?

I just don't know with JZ - he is giving 110% but what is on field role? It's not great that we are having to find a spot for him - as captain and at 26 he should own his spot by now.
 
Play him up forward the rest of the season. If that fails He should be on the trade table.
