It's not unthinkable that they saw Jagga as the best available player (leaving out Ashcroft for obvious reasons).

Reminds me a bit of 2016, where Hugh McCluggage was regularly at the top of form guides as the most rounded, complete player in the group. But then 'slid' to 3 as the first two clubs saw something in a couple of other players that they were looking for.

Hey I like Ollie but if you look at the our best team, I think he is the player most likely to be pushed out, then maybe Fog/Cotts

I don't think they are competing for the same spot. Ollie should be wing/halfback (I'm hoping half-back next year). Jagga should be half forward/on ball.

Maybe, but Sam Walsh stared on the wing and he is a similar player. We will find out over the summer
