Half-forward pushing into stoppages you reckon?

I think once his games translates to AFL level (the fast feet in traffic especially) it’ll be hard to not have him at a decent % of ball-ups.

Only question is does the frame need at least some protection initially?
Think he starts round 1 on the bench and plays through the middle

Quick, AFL tank, huge work ethic and not much difference in body size to a first game named Walsh

I don’t make that sort of statement, because you never know how he will be managed back from injury. But I take your wider point that he is too good to be playing VFL.
Depending on the injury I guess

He's fast, skilled but it's his super strong midfielder IQ which makes him. He's an absolute ball magnet and this is why. I hope we don't try and overcoach him, he needs to be playing instinctive footy. Once he settles into AFL footy and learns to play around our heavy hitters he will be really good for us. He'll be one of these guys who are just in the right spot at the right time.

Our midfield needed to have a mini-rebuild. Been calling for it for years. Smith, hopefully Lord is as good as I think he will be. Cerra hopefully comes good. Ben Camporeale. These are all really strong steps forward to modernising our midfield. Pace, strong chasers, strong tacklers and run and carry.

I’m more excited about Jagga than any previous recruit.
Just the reflexes and footy iq.
Weitering I knew he’d be good hard to excited about a key back never realised Cripps would be this good.
Curnow Harry same was worried the could end up a gumblton.
Walsh was told he was Vannila sounded looked pretty good but there wasn’t a buzz.
But Jagga for me watching him move think dispose of the footy the lad has it.
Not only does he have it but he’s going to get it a lot and rarely waste a disposal.
I agree forward mid he could take Owies spot with some mid rotations.
A one touch class player with vision and some toe and quick feet in the forward line.
Our halfbacks are stacked no point in robbing Peter 😁

Jagga has all the attributes of an early AFL star. Mature and well prepared, great tank, point of difference, proven performance at the second tier.

Hard to see why he wouldn't play straight away.

Only reason would be that they couldn't fit him in the mix, in which case weust be having a pretty damn good pre-season

Is it me or does Jagga already look pretty strong? Hes definately skinny but he doesnt look weak skinny. Looks to have more lean muscle on him then he did earlier in the year.
Think Kenny Hunter or Skinny Lappin strong.
Stronger than he looks.
Strong power base from low with an outstanding centre of gravity.
He will be just fine

When I first saw him play i immediately drew parallels to Butters (quick feet, confidence) Daicos (agility and poise) and Neale (one touch below the knees)

I just can’t believe how good this kid looks, and am more excited for him than I’ve been for any of our other kids too

I just see Nick Daicos in everything he does. Can't wait until he breaks the pack to kick the winner against Collingwood from 35 out on a tight angle.

I think Daicos is a generational talent and will always have more X-Factor (remember - his surname is 'Daicos') whereas Jagga will be more 'meat and potatoes' like Walshy but will :

a) Relish the tough stuff
b) Win lots of his own ball.
