I agree that the Pies should be interested, not sure about trading a player though??

What round draft pick would be required... 3rd or 4th something like that??

We'd probably ask for 2nd and settle for 3rd tbh

Where are you getting your stats from? Your basically saying he had 14 touches in 1 and 1/2 qtrs. o_O

My eyes. I watched the game at home and he had 2 tackles and zero touches up until half time. From memory his first touch came around the 10 minute mark, but of course it's possible it could be slightly earlier/later.

I'd pay Collingwood to take him at the moment

We don't really have anyone that is super quick though

He's not quick. Just doesn't appear to have ankles.

We can, just have to pay out his contract and (IIRC) still pay that as part of the cap (unsure about that one)
It is, and if (for example) there were multiple years it all has to go in one hit under that year's cap. The Lions had to negotiate a deal with the league to be able to pay Fev out, I believe.

All I can say is "Well done Leroy, you have managed to do something that ALL posters here can only dream of. You have managed to play for our great club at the highest level, if you have played your last game for us, congratulations and thanks for some fine memories".

Cant we trick WCE to trade for Jetta instead of just delisting him?

I mean, cmon, they took a chance with Cale Morton!

We'll just blame his homesickness for his poor form, Im sure we can put together a decent enough highlights tape.

What would we get in return?

Whatever we can get, hell pick #88 is still better than nothing right?

Even a pick upgrade would be nice?

Yeah, wouldn't mind going from ~50 to ~45

Disgusting last night, did not want to be there.

Didn't participate in the lap after the game and when dalgleish kicked his first goal of his career everyone got around him except Jetta.

He is an icypole

He also didn't celebrate his goal either. Something is up with Leroy and we should wait and see before we judge. He did have a bit of a crack last night, much better than the total rubbish he served up against Norf.

He's been playing better than ever as a mid in the VFL. He's obviously dropped his head for some reason.
However, with the draft penalties, the fact that a 3rd rounder is the best we'd get for him and the contract for next year I get the feeling he'll go around one more time for Essendon.

He's not super quick but he does have a bit of toe and can certainly be evasive. He also has damaging disposal, not always perfect but often very creative. Perhaps a massive preseason and a chance to work in tandem with Zaka as the guys who feed off Jobe, Myers, Heppell, Hocking and Howlett's hard work and can feed to Stanton and Goddard or carry the ball themselves will see us with with a more rounded midfield. Provided he has the kms under the belt to work both ways.

When you say he didnt' participate what do you mean, did he walk off ground?

he had a good game but i looked like he didn't want to be there, I don't understand. Since playing in the midfield for the V.F.L he's become a lot harder at the ball and its definitely made him a better player. Lets see what happens next year though, I doubt he would leave though and i doubt he wants to.

He has one more year to go on his contract. To me there was specific reasons why he played in the two's for most of the year. Zone defence or whatever, but maybe it could be something compareable to Melksham. A relatively easy first 60ish games. Melksham was contrfonted a few times over this season (and last) and has responded. It seems to be taking a little longer for Leroy. Not everyone responds the same way to pressure and expectations.
Ive always thought he drifted in and out of games alot and Im sure there are a few more aspects trb wants to see improvement in.
His confidence is down, but I still believe there to be alot of upside to him. The club have invested alot into him, and have backed in with the last contract extension.
Not sure if he wants to stay or not, but if he stays and does reach his full potential he will be a very damaging player. Its an IF I know.
