I know but he was effectively tied down in the first half of the year through Noble’s inept coaching.

I think someone mentioned it in the AA Team thread on the main board. LDU will always be overlooked due to small team syndrome. He virtually has to blow away someone similar to be considered on a level footing.

It sucks but that is why the AA Selection process is a total wank.

Scary to think how good he was playing by the end of the season, and that he looks to have another 2 or 3 levels of improvement in him.

Absolutely.

It's bloody exciting I reckon as to still deliver in an absolute rabble, I thought was fantastic.

I think he is arguably in the top 5 most explosive players in the league from a contest to move it directly forward not chip backwards etc etc.

Congrats on a fantastic season. This kid has every chance of being in the best few players in the comp. If he hadn’t been left to rot in the forward line he would have taken home the Syd. Not to take anything anyway from Jy who was a deserved winner but this guys best is a few levels above anyone we have on the list for what he can do and he is only just scratching the surface, next year should be unreal, 2024 though is the year I’ll be putting a few dollars on him to take he the Brownlow.

Got screwed by the voting system a bit. Had a couple of big games (GWS and the second Geelong game) where he was excellent, but by that point the coaches had basically stopped giving votes.

He was unbelievable at Kardinia but got like 6 or 8 votes for it or something.
