He doesn't spend 30% of his game there, or anything remotely close to 30%. It'd be very lucky to be 10%. He's certainly not a great ruckmen but he's not the worst either, the guy's over 200cm and you're trying to tell me he spends 36 minutes out of a 120 minute game in the middle, and only manages 3.7 taps a game? I struggle to believe that. He's a pinch hitter at best, not a part time ruckman.

Don't know the amount of time he spends in which particular area of the ground but he gets 34% of his possessions behind the centre, compared to Brown and Franklin averaging 18 and 14 respectively.

Have you watched him play?

Or purely guessing based on stats?

Just lock this thread again. Please.
I know its weird since the spew of thread about them recently but this board isn't just for Richmond circle jerks.

Yes. He can be unstoppable due to his size and his amazing marking ability. If he puts it all together and Essendon become a one-man forward line he has a good chance of achieving it.

I watch essendon games every other week, I probably watch 4-5 games a week on average. Have you got any stats to back up your 30% claim or did you purely guess based on speculation?
I watch every game.

There is no way you watch him every other week if you don't believe he spends 30% of the time in the ruck.

Hahaa okay pal, so you're telling me your coach plays one of the best key forwards in the game in the ruck 30% of the time, knowing if he was playing up forward he'd more than likely be kicking more goals, just so he can ruck to get his measely 3.7 taps per game, which by your own admission he's not even good at? What sense does that make? It's apparent to anyone except the most delusional of essendon supporters that he's a key forward who pinch hits in the ruck, not a part time ruckmen.

Why's it been opened? Has he done anything that actually reflects the question asked by the OP. He kicked six goals yesterday and leads the Coleman at this point in time. Is that reason to continue the shit-slinging between Essendon fans and the rest of the competition?

Show us a time in ruck stat to back it up, thanks.
Show you a stat that isn't kept?

Hahaha. You know people are struggling when that's the best you got.

Yep. If only Bellchambers had a better tank.

So because opposition posts are having some bizzare meltdown we should close the thread? We really would have to close every Richmond thread.

He kicked 6 yesterday, he's 2 clear in the coleman despite spending 30% of the game in the ruck. That screams he is the most capable player, if he becomes a stay at home forward like Kennedy and Brown.

Hmmm... ok.

He kicks goals from the midfield too, so it's not exactly holding him back from scoring.

He's a special talent, an absolute star and an exciting player to watch. Pretty scary that he still has elements of his game that need fine tuning.

As for kicking 100 goals in a season? He may well in the future but I would suggest that Essendon will be a far better team if he doesn't reach that mark and they spread the scoring load.
