I always thought that City should have just gone over to Marvel and made those cheap $10 tickets and gotten a big crowd in.

The original idea was people would sign up for a membership to attend the more atmospheric derbies but now even those derbies don't sell out so... what's the point?

Be interesting to see where the Western v City game is next week. Western Oval would be great.
Still can't believe we are a week out and still don't know where this game is going to be played!
Surely not at AAMI, I'll be at the cricket over at the G. I can't imagine Tarniet would be up for it, Ballarat would be touch and go without adequate lighting once it gets dark (as much as I'd love not needing to travel), surely it has to be in Geelong.

I’d say Behich is in deep poo poo!

Misjudged the level of contact? Lol!! Everyone saw the replays, not like they didn't watch it over and over again. You don't need much contact when one is deliberately stepping on another player's nuts! That's a piss weak explanation.

Very encouraging by WU, close to packing out Ironbark already.

With the new stadium / development they have a bright future.

Macarthur on the other hand actually had less fans at the Newcastle home game than the R1 6-1 thrashing of Glory. Went from 4200 to 3800. Surely with the good result, Fri night timeslot and some healthy promotion during the week they could have improved on the Glory crowd.

However, Macarthur's CEO has just said this:

8k average after 10 seasons? This is surely unacceptable. Give their license to Illawarra.

Yeah it would've been more believable if they said it was a misinterpretation.

Believe work has begun. It has also been endorsed by Shire of Wyndham

Your land developments has signed a contract to build the stadium and surrounds with Shire of Wyndham. Planned completion is start of 2026/27 A League season.

There's also a credit facility in place with Johnson controls for the club to borrow money if unexpected costs arise.
