What's up with the fixturing? Why is there two NZ derbies in the first sux rounds?

Same as Sydney derbies I guess, make the most of the big fixtures while it's not too hot? Dunno.

Generate interest before Christmas?

That was my first whole game I watched in the A-League this season and I loved it.

Decent crowd of 26k too in Auckland. Auckland FC look like they will be a hard nut to crack in defence this season.

I know this might not be the right place to ask but how much is an A-League pass cost?

I have an EPL account with optus for $16.50 but wondering if its worth the subscription for A-League. Im all for supporting local provided the fees are reasonable.

Whether it is worth it or not depends on if you are interested in the other stuff on Paramount.

How good are things going in Auckland?

In the space of four home games, Auckland FC have already surpassed the city’s former A-League club the New Zealand Knights’ attendance total.

The Knights averaged crowds of only 3,438 across their 21 home games. Auckland FC have averaged 19,534.

Will be interesting what sort of crowd they get against Perth, Macarthur, WUN, etc.
