Didn’t see the first decision so can’t comment.

The second one you can understand his frustration. If the ref gave it live, then sure mistakes happen and you cop it on the chin, but for the muppet ref to come up with a bizarre decision like that after having the benefit of seeing a replay, I would be livid too.
Well they unquestionably should’ve been down to 10 for 60 minutes of the game - so everything that happened after 11 v 11 is kind of irrelevant.

Round 1 Nix was definitely a different side to current Nix - we'll see how it goes, but I want to score many more goals than our opposition.

Bloody good win mate. Looking very compossed, although wtf was ST thinking? Probably the easiest penalty decision of the year. Ufuk Talay certainly ticking all the right boxes.

Things developing nicely for the Nix. Impressed by Talay.

What's the latest on a new venue? Surely there's a business case for a 15k rectangular stadium in Wellington also designed for concerts.

It does highlight how important good imports are - meanwhile Adelaide have two Europeans who have missed most of the season (the who is actually interchangable on a yearly basis - in this instance Boland and Ospeth and a Chinese guy who will likely never be good enough for the XI or the bench. So thats 60% of our imports missing. Makes a difference.

Dobras & Poulsen very disappointing for us so far considering their pedigree.

Hehehe, come on you 'Nix.

Very good! Loved every minute of it!

Hahaha, great save from Taylor, what are you talking about? 😂😂

Once we're safe in the league, then I'd assume we'll start looking. But there's literally no space to build without NIMBYs complaining. Wellington doesn't have a rectangular stadium anywhere so they'd need to build on an existing soccer pitch.

Between rugby / football and concerts there should be a strong business case for it.

I do agree, however it would be tough to work it while westpac stadium is still seen as a viable venue for all forms. There are really only 3 sports that needs to be considered for the town (cricket, rugby and soccer). Once cricket nz decide/find enough money to expand the basin by 5k and the ability to redevelop/rebuild westpac (through a join partnership between the hurricanes and nix) it could occur, can see cap being closer to 20k due to rugby needs.

I gotta say Matt Millar, from Newcastle is seriously underrated, been their best player all year playing at right back (was arguably mariners best last year), I wonder if he'll get a call from overseas or a bigger club next year.

We will see a much better performance from Melbourne this afternoon. Not saying we will win, but under the Andy Warhol hipster French gaffer, very rarely have City put in two crap performances in a row this season (which is unprecedented in Heart/City history)

Very happy to settle for a draw, but you never know for sure

Honestly that penalty save by Glover was better than any goal you will see this year. The disappointed reaction by that Oompa Lumpa (Portly Sydney fan) they showed immediately after was most satisfying. Pretty good half of football, it has had everything 👍👍👍
