Well the club wont care about Goodwin or Thompson as theyre no longer at the club, and its pretty obvious that Reid was frozen out. Maybe he could have done more but the AFL have already tried that and it went nowhere
Not only could Reid have done more, he SHOULD have.

interesting that he claims the players all knew exactly what they were given yet many told ASADA they werent sure if they were given thymosin and hose that were didnt know exactly which one
Not only that Mxett, he's claiming that if the player didn't know what they were getting or why, he would sit them down and go through it again until they understood. Clearly he is a prophet. He sees players could sue him in the future, and decided to cover-his-arse by providing this tid-bit of information two years too late.

What if he's got dirt on the whole list not just the infamous 34? In that hypothetical scenario where he has dirt on others players, it might be leverage.

Also despite your point about cronulla (which is fair enough), isn't there some clause about multiple offences carrying a 4 year ban? I forget the term they used.
Aggravated use.

Someone really needs to call Dank out on this kangaroo court/appropriate forum crap. The WADA Code, ASADA Act, AFL Anti-doping Code and the NAD Scheme provide the very appropriate framework for dealing with these anti-doping matters. It's a framework that many athletes and their support staff have been subjected to for years and is very similar to what is used throughout the rest of world sport. The first thing a 'higher' court will ask Dank is, "Did you participate in that process?" before they'll even consider whether he was fairly or unfairly dealt with by that process. When Dank responds with "Erm, no it's a kangaroo court." they'll point out that the process is entirely reasonable and that he can't come to them bleating about mistreatment when he provided that process with no evidence and no statements regarding his actions or innocence. He won't get past first base with any higher court.

Dank is either stupidly scrambling for some non-existent higher moral ground, or is just as stupidly heeding the very poor legal advice of a new, sea kayaking friend.

I too would like to know what Workcover and the appropriate courts think about the destruction or 'losing' of what may be reasonably be considered as medical records. Poor governance is one thing, something we know is only likely to result in a five-to-six-figure fine, but if it can be proven that complete records once existed and "can no longer be found", might that not result in more serious repercussions? Of course, it's probably more reasonable to assume that Dank is talking out of his arse again.

A man of many talents! ;)
but but but...

Which man? I'm dead certain I would remember if I worked at EFC.

Did you?

Am I going a bit mental here?

Obliviously it was Dank, so you can ask him for the records. But, as a employee of the club it would be improper to have those company records in his possession.

That interview assumes we're all incredibly gullible.

So forget everything outlined in Ziggy's damming report. Forget Jobe's admission, forget the Doc's written concerns ! Forget the offshore source of these dodgy chemicals, and the plethora of evidence gathered so far...

And listen to the majority of EFC supporters continue to show no contrition every time this topic is raised.
It'd be nice to hear the majority of EFC posters here protest those sins already demonstrated so far, and make some serious noise. That'd make it much harder for their club management to continue down this destructive road.

There's always been those clubs we "love to hate" in the AFL, but EFC is now a club I "hate to hate". Its disgusting.
They should rightly miss a generation of young football supporters who grew up witnessing this tripe.

Nobody needed Dank to say that the players, coaches and probably half the entire club knew what was going on, what was being given to whom and when...

"All of these substances have some sort of approval somewhere in the world" - The Stephen Dank defence. This is comedy gold from Dank and he has just dropped a 16 ton weight right on top of the Essendon Football club.

wonder how he will sleep at night if 34 players get a season or two ban as a direct result of his refusal to be part of a 'kangaroo court'. Seems a very harsh penalty to pay for Dank's 'issues' with the AFL and ASADA's process

If Dank did cooperate 2 years is guaranteed. I think you will find that is the real reason he will not cooperate - Essendon have a fighting chance without the records.
