I think Kevin Smith (of Clerks fame) is making a movie of Green Hornet. I think he's a fanboy, so it might be okay.

Yep, shooting starts in a couple of months.

Kev is the writer, director, EP and producer, whilst Jay Mewes, Jake Gyllenhal, Jet Li and Jason Lee will star.

More old shows that I'd like to see again:--

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
Rat Patrol
I Spy
Sea Hunt
Land of the Giants
Tomorrow People
Rifleman
12 O'Clock High
Monster Squad
Boney

If you'd like to know about any of these, ask and I'll try to fill you in

Got the 1st series of "Kung Fu" on DVD, and to be honest, the shows are pretty feeble. It was one of the TV series that I liked in the 1970's, just hasn't aged well.

Of the shows that haven't been on free or subscriber TV lately, I'd like to have a look at "Time Tunnel" again.

Some others that'd be interesting to see again, see if they hold up today, or are weak by today's standards:--

The Immortal
The Champions

Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased)

It's About Time

Alias Smith & Jones

The Green Hornet

The Invaders

The Night Stalker

I'll think of some others later

These I'd like to see. Had The Invaders set on tape but they got lost somewhere along the line.

Which one of Smith or Jones topped himself? Just remember as a kid I really liked that show and that it got cancelled after one of the actors commited suicide.

Night Stalker was the daddy of all todays 'dark arts' programs. and the best.

I'd like to see 'That Girl' because for some reason at 4:30am this morning I'm thinking of how adorable Marlo Thomas was in that show.

If I remember correctly, "The Invaders" finished production with all the questions still unanswered, very frustrating

Peter Duel played the part of Hannibal Heyes/Joshua Smith, a well known drunk who ended it all introducing a bullet to his brain.
Actually the show continued for another 17 episodes, with Roger Davis in the Hannibal Heyes/Joshua Smith part, he had done the voice overs in the opening credits

Don't know about Marlo Thomas, but I was keen on Patty Duke, and Grace Lee Whitney was oh so "it"

Got my Season 1 DVD's of Combat! this week, and must admit I'm very impressed.

I do not recall having seen these episodes previously, maybe season 1 was not shown in Australia? or maybe I was too young to watch them, don't know?

Very highly recommended
