The Kalgoorlie Nuggets entered the league in 2028. This team was heavily backed by former AFL Stars like Eddie Betts, Jamie Graham and Dean Kemp. This team creates great young talent from around the Goldfields. This team has a fortress at the recently upgraded Digger Daws Oval because of the intense heat and humidity. They Rarely loss at home and they are looking to take the WAFL Premiership back to the goldfields in the coming years.

This next team was a controversial one. The Carnarvon Cats became to be also in the 2028. This was meet with loads of Backlash around the state due to the Gascoyne's Low population and that they can't support a team by themselves. The WAFC Heavily backs the team to keep out afloat. The first season didn't go so well. Losing all but 2 games. Hopefully this team can get their act in the coming seasons.

The old east's faithful held massive riots and many rallies infant of the construction site stating that this isn't their home. The higher ups listened an commissioned a mini upgrade to East Fremantle Oval. While playing all Rivalry and Final matches at Fremantle Oval, they are still holding strong at East Fremantle Oval.
