Yeah well at least Shiel has hair unlike that uncle Fester-wannabe Gaz.Sure is...
BTW a feather duster displacing a hair would have pretty boy Shiel on the turf.

You were the one who mentioned precedence champ.Mitchell didn't leave the ground and wasn't suspended to begin with
But that's ignoring the fact that the tribunal don't believe in precedent so saying but xxx wasn't suspended isn't a valid argument.
You can show examples of similar actions for consideration but you can't point to previous rulings as evidence of a precedent

This was NEVER suspension worthy. Agree? Shiel was not hurt, lost no game time and got a free kick. That’s all it deserved. Michael Christian knew that but was hamstrung by his own rhetoric saying any hit to the head is “intentional”It’s proof again the mro and mrp are and were a load of ****. Just send all reports to the tribunal
Gaff wasn’t either before his incident.. doesn’t mean people don’t do stupid things in the heat of battle.
This surely cannot be true??
I guarantee if Toby Greene, Steven May or anyone with a prior record did this they are not playing this week.
With the MRO. This is the tribunalWhere is the 'potential to cause serious injury' clause now?
And that’s where the whole system is a mess. The fact is, he was in an unnatural position off the ground, elbow was in an unnatural position above his head and it DID get Shiel in the head whether he meant it or not. We’re not talking about a 4 weeker here.. It definitely deserves one just for the stupidity of him leaving the ground with a swinging elbow (intentional or not)He didn’t get off though he was found guilty of a careless action instead of an intentional one. And when you are picking between those two gradings what you were trying to do does really matter quite a lot. Do you really believe that at that point in time Ablett intention was to strike him in the head with his elbow? If it was he really did a poor job of executing his evil plan.
You were the one who mentioned precedence champ.
And you were right, it was there in the video I posted.
If you're that upset about it e-mail your club and ask them why they didn't appeal Cousins' suspension.
Given the vigorous defence that Cats fans have given Ablett for elbowing Shiel in the head I look forward to them displaying the same level of support of the next opposition player to clock Selwood or Dangerfield with a stray elbow to the head.
If they condemn that player then it proves how hypocritical they really are.
Exactly. Why does he have it in for Geelong to get him reported. At least this time he didn't threaten to add another week if he didn't plea guilty like he did with HawkinsSteven Hocking influence at work here.
Oh nooooo don’t boo him lol.
I had the greatest time ever at the hawks and bombers games. Your fans look pathetic.
It’s a great laugh
Fair go ! nothing wrong with the Borough lolGood guess! Moving to eaglehawk if that makes you more moist
did they challenge it?Think it still deserves at least one though. Others have been suspended for a lot less under “potential to cause serious injury”.
I read perfectly fine. The MRO suspension was irrelevant as he shouldn't have been suspended in the first place. That precedent was set last year.Gralin you just got “champed” by the guy who can’t read.
Decapitated ....did Ablett have a chainsaw
Fair go ! nothing wrong with the Borough lol

Yes because both were non football related, high hits. Gaffs obviously deserves a heftier stint but doesn’t mean Ablett deserves nothing. Shouldn’t matter how good his previous record is either. Gaff had never been to the tribunal but got an extra 2 weeks (on top of what should have been 6), for some “look of the game” bullshit and media uproar. That’s the 1-2 weeks Ablett should have received in a more consistent tribunal..Lol comparing Gaff. You eagles fans are so delusional it’s ridiculous.
Play over 300 games without a suspension and stick up for some minor contact and you might have a point.
The salt in here is glorious
