Adam Hunter Incident

I think if he hit him in the julies with any force he would have been out of action for a while, or at the very least limping, which he clearly was not.

No free kick and no report from the umpire, who saw the whole thing. That sour faced little bitch Mark Williams was standing over him and played it up.

Hunter in my opinion should have got off with a reprimand.
Sure he did connect but it didnt stop Williams from playing.
Hopefully they appeal.

Hopefully he gets two weeks. He punched the dude in the nuts. That's gotta mean something... not a thing a fella should do to another guy.

Hawks were training at my school and I heard some guy (dont know who) say: "You'll be glad to hear that prick Hunter got charged." "Yeah hope that ********ing ******** gets rubbed out."
Sour grapes.

Maybe i'm biased but i thought the video was inconvlusive in regards to where the impact was, could have either been in the Jatz or the thigh

The fact that the umpire looked like he a good view of the incident and didn't pay a free suggest that it wasn't as bad as it appeared

It could just be that because it didn't look good, the AFL had to give him a suspension due to possible copycat incedences in the future

that is a joke! one week the match report offers gehrig 2 weeks for a similar offence, then hunter gets off. it won't matter tho, the saints are too strong at subiaco. with or without hunter. Also, you want to be contenders for the premiership? come to melbourne and play a decent team

Have a winge buddy!

By the way the Saints are not too strong at Subiaco coz if you look at records the last time we played there we beat you by 90 odd points.

And as for playing a decent team in Victoria how bout you actually leave that Stupid Dome of yours and then we will listen to you. Until then SHUT THE HELL UP AND WATCH YOUR TEAM GET FLOGGED THIS SATURDAY!!!!

Saints Last win in Perth against the Eagles was.........when....1998?...1999? Hmmm. Pretty strong in Perth? Don't think so.

We'd like to come to Melbourne to play a decent team but there are so few.....

Good point buddy

Yeah it was round 22 1999 but that was at the WACA ( i think)

what about freo? 2004! House of Pain! anyway, fact is, the tribunal in inconsistent but hunter is crap anyway. see you at Subiaco

Hi fellas... I was born and bred in Melbourne. Moved here in 1998 and have been here since. Some people call Perth "Dullsville". Yep, it fits.
Perth is DULL DULL DULL
and the folks here are stuck in a 1950's time warp.
Backwards? You betcha.

Located in the eastern suburbs of Perth, near the intersection of Great Eastern Highway and Tonkin Highway is the Perth Domestic Airport Terminal. From this terminal, Qantas and Virgin Blue planes depart for most major Australian destinations, including multiple daily flights to both Sydney and Melbourne.

I suggest you look this up, board and fail to return. Where you go is fairly irrelevant.

What about Freo. In case you didn't notice, Freo lost five games at Subiaco last year. West Coast lost two, and one of those was to Freo. Oh, and we're not Freo, the lack of purple should have been a giveaway.

What's really interesting is to compare West Coast's record since the start of last year away from Subiaco with St Kilda's away from the Dome. They're amazingly similar.

Oh, and underrate Hunter at your peril. I'd almost say he's just about the most underrated player on our list...

you whole list is overrated. almost anywhere away from perth you guys have trouble playing. MCG GF if u get there? i don't think so.

I completely agree that the WCE are useless away from home, apart from the anomoly that of the 7 rounds, 4 are in the away column, 3 of which were away from perth and still undefeated. Banfield has a premiership medallion, as does Worsfold which is more than can be said for the sainters.

St. Kilda however, are fabulous anywhere. They lost to Brisbane at the gabba (unlike WCE who thrashed them at the same ground), scraped home against Freo in a semiaway game but for all intents and purposes were beaten until freo typically imploded and were defeated by the roos at home. You were unlucky against geelong with injuries (lost some money on that game) but then that cancels out the lucky freo game. 4-3 and 7th on the ladder is hardly something to be shouting from the rooftops about.

Yes you have a list with some noteable talents, particularly in the middle and in the forward line, but then so do the WCE - they would hardly be over-rated given that theres a brownlow medalist in there and sitting pretty 2 games clear at 7-0.
