Well dockers have won 7 finals since the end of 2005 with 4 different coaches. Not exactly the best thing but that is mild to moderate finals success.

Essendon hasn't won a final since 2004.

Gold coast has been in the AFL since 2011 and still haven't made finals.

I remember back In 2008 or 2009 Freo struggled. Yet Pavlich was 2nd in the Coleman medal with 72 goals.
