Relevancy? It's a fact. The Crows finished minor premiers only 2 points ahead of third place. That is not a dominating position.

I think what throws people is that Richmond have made a grand final. People still don't believe the Tigers have changed from who they were at their worst in the 90s or any more recent period. But the stats will show that the all mighty Crows of 2017 finished one draw ahead of Richmond on the ladder. We both beat the exact same teams in the finals, the difference being Richmond finished 3rd and got the job done over the exact same teams. I don't think the Crows ever dropped out of the top 4 for the entire year and yet the difference was 2 premiership points.

You will go in as slight favorites. But the margin is not as wide as you make out. Before the first final every Geelong supporter was saying anytime, anywhere and that Richmond will fold like they always have. When they lost they quickly complained how unfair it was that they should expect to play anytime anywhere football. The mighty fall hard. Under estimate your opposition at your own peril.

We scored an average of 20 points more per game whilst defensively you are slightly better (4 points per game).

I agree. If they don't want to make a mockery of their own "protect the head at all costs" agenda than both have to go. Both with probably get off. Cotchin's 2x fines hanging over him will not make it easy for the AFL to engineer a not guilty verdict. If he does go it'll be bob murphy the good bloke 2.0

Hehe, let's try another similar scoreline St Kilda 138 v Richmond 71, Round 16. The Saints first half was way more impressive than Adelaide's. The rematch in Round 23 was interesting though. Enjoy the week and the build up.

Good on the Tigers, I know how depressing it is to wait for a chance to play in a grand final with my SANFL team (which I still follow religiously.)
I hope your supporters soak in the atmosphere, this is the greatest feeling...the greatest.

Ellis is identical to Wines in the ?last round so theres clear precedent that without an impact that causes ill effect he will be cleared despite it being textbook what the AFL don't want (all bar it causing injury).
