And guys, just for the record, at my job, I actually have to WATCH ads (yes, that's right, I get paid to watch ads and put them into a database so that people can then buy them).

So, let me assure you, I have seen all of these ads at least 20-50 times more than all of you (not just Melbourne; Brisbane, Sydney, Hobart and Perth as well), and yes, many of them are just cringeworthy)

From what I've seen, Adelaide (used to do them, not anymore) and Hobart have the worst ads.

When I was living in Sydney last year just about all my footy watching was done late at night, where all the bad ads went to die. There was this absolute pearler of an ad for a music shop. Truly terrible it was, and it reveled in it. Local, regional ads are the best though. Had some good ones in north-east Tasmania back in the day.

Has to be that bloody stupid NAB climb every mountain add, the motor bike chick sounds like a bloke, the first chick sounds and looks like a bloke and the bloke looks like a dugong.

also EVERY ad on SEN makes me flick stations for the ten minutes in a row the ads go for! i am thinking about emailing UD trucks and going beserk at them becuase their ads are by far the worst on SEN.

hahaha, cracks me up every time, but yes, a stupid ad lol. Tampon ads are messed up, they are all weird like the tampon ad which is something like "extra protection, and you can even wear that white skirt" like wtf?

Oh and the ad where the women comes on and goes "ok guys lets talk about love" *pause* "ok girls seeing as all the guys are out of the room, lets talk about thrush...............

In the New York Metro area, there is a commercial for a local cable "Triple Play' Package in which a reggaeton rapper sings the praises of Optimum Triple Play. Plenty of people hate this ad, but the jingle is catchy!

The new Telstra ad is awful. They've put the most lame lyrics possible to the song Everybody's Talkin the end result being the most cringe worthy ad in a long time.
