It's annoying for sure. And why bother making a new ad when you have a perfectly crappy one from the 90's.

There's two radio ads that deserve mention.
The Pancake Parlor ads and the Taxicabs ads.
I do loath both ads and the voice over person used by Yarra Trams!

This isnt on tv but at the movies or the ones I go to they have this add with this fat **** watching tv when the door flies open and the words "take the hint get outta the house come up" I thought this may be promoting excersize. Instead its promoting the reading cinemas club where all you do is just sit down and eat unhealthy snacks. Except you pay $25 more to do it.
The ad that has grated me recently was the Bundaberg Rum one with the dude at his farewell party singing Lionel Richie's cheesy "Stuck on you".
My ears just cringe as sings the chorus way out of tune. In the full version of the ad (which played nearly every ad break), he sang the tune at least TIMES! Oh, the humanity!
It's the absolute pariah among the Bundaberg pearlers.

Those ads are the most cringeworthy ads i've ever heard.
I did laugh at one they did recently though, trying to convince people to go to 'The Pancake Parlour' when they want a coffee.
I hate that Budget Direct one.

I saw an ad up in QLD of 2 FPV Falcons drifting around a track for......you guessed it: a super fund.

The reading and writing difficulties add that has been on for about 20 year, and only recently I saw it was thrown on again. Its the cartoon one where the have a high pitched females voice repeating the phone number "13 double O 6 triple 5 O six"

The 'Just for men' hair dye ad where the words are completley out of sync with the lips.
Shocking ad, but funny at the same time.
There's another ad like this about some skin cream.
It's the one where she pretends shes on the phone because she doesnt want him to see her bad skin, and then when she fixes it she snatches the phone of him and says 'please leave a message after, the...beeeeep".
Hate it with a passion!!

Its for clearasil and the audio is so badly out of sync with the lips. I mean really bad, almost like the australian dub over isn't following the original ad's script & is putting words in which don't match the mouth movements. Pretty much any ad which has been dubbed over for australians is so annoying. Theres a castrol one around at the moment, usualy on during motorsport & again the dubbing is done so poorly.

I agree competely. She just snatched the phone with no clue on how important the call was. Id go ape at someone if they snatched my phone off me during a important phone call.
