A bit of a shemozzle last weekend
raskolnikov didn’t tip, so gets the losing Panthers. But aussiedude took the Rams despite not being allowed.
However, of the rest, 4 (Demonic Ascent AmericanCrow peterbuch74 myself) picked Tompa.

Which just leaves Constantgin as the winner!!

Has been a weird season, and that is reflected in these survivor comps!
lol. i didnt even notice. i thought i picked Tampa. must of changed my mind and not even noticed as i pressed send.

Round 3 of the Survivor competition!

List of rules:
Rule #1: You have to pick one winner each week. You must tip before TNF kick-off.

Rule #2: No one can pick in the game with the greatest line head start each week, according to Sportsbet website. (if there are 2 games with the same biggest line then this rule is ignored).

Rule #3: You cannot pick the same team over a rolling 4-week period. i.e. if you pick Tampa Bay in Week 2, you can’t pick them again until Week 6.

Rule #4: You can gain an immunity round if you elect to pick an underdog (as per the Sportsbet website, at the time you make the tip) and they win. This means you get an extra life. You can earn a maximum of one immunity round in the competition. NB: As per Rule #1, you must tip before first kick-off!

Rule #5: If you forget to submit a tip before first kick-off, you get the team with the greatest head start (i.e. the team least likely to win).

Last player standing wins!

This week
Biggest line is Eagles -13.5
So default pick is: Texans.

Update?

Ah crap!!! Was in hospital taking care of my dad on Thursday night/Friday and completely forgot about my selections! First time ever I've missed a week in this comp :(

How is dad?
He's battling... fought off cancer twice already, but due to some major complications (stuff ups by the docs) on the last round of treatments he's got many more ailments. Best outcome is that he stabilizes and has another 12 months of quality life with us, worst case... who knows?
He's 75, had led a very active life, mind is very active still... hurts to see him like this... frustrated at all the things he can't do now.

Sorry to hear that mate, hope you're doing OK

Sorry to hear that mate.
Make sure he has the people and things he loves around him.
Have worked a fair bit around oncology and palliative care, so please feel free to PM me any time.

Man that sucks. Dont worry about some silly tipping comp in a time like this, you have more important things on going on.
But also remember to take time to look after yourself

Always sad to see close loved ones suffer, just do what you can mate and look after yourself too.

Thanks for the invite, but I'm going to have to decline. Sorry.

I will make a prediction though: A stellar season from Mahomes, and the Chiefs for the SB.

Well, Part 1 achieved. An absolutely stellar season from Patrick Mahomes - the obvious (and probably unanimous) MVP.

Now for Part 2. Go Chiefs Kingdom.
