Basic rules:

• Each week, tip the winner of each regular season game, with a confidence rating from 16 (most confident) to 1 (least confident).
• During bye weeks, the most confident will still be 16 points, down to 2-3 for the least confident.
• Total scores from the winning teams selected will determine your weekly total points, and we will have an overall standing.
• Lockout is Sunday 1pm ET (i.e. the start of the Sunday early slate of Games)

Yeah. I can't even remember doing that. I couldn't remember who I picked and my reaction was the same as yours WTF? when I checked the tips. My only explanation is that I was well into my second bottle of wine when I did my tips.

Think it is easier than the real AE we had. All i do now is pick when tipping opens and never log back in to chop and change regarding injuries etc and swapping CR levels. In the prior AE i always second guessed myself and changed picks late and always screwed myself.

Pick once / log off and roll the dice now. Tipping NFL is 90% luck based anyway. The more you think about it the more the game bends you over.

Unfortuntely the Bucs, Niners and Bengals bowled out the other remaining 6.

SURVIVOR UPDATE

Both are through Week 5.
Moo getting home in OT with Baltimore, whilst FootyPunk had a much cruisier time with Washington.

Meanwhile in the Woodson CR comp, there was a lot of movement and a bit of chaos!

Rodney Dimes with a huge 202 (essentially 101 in the old scoring, out of a max 133) - superb!
@bigunit30 and TheGreatBarryB with 194 on the podium.

These scores, combined with a poorer week for AmericanCrow (134) means that we have some movement at the top.

Demonic Ascent has chipped away week to week, and with 184 this week, has jumped to #1, on 826 points.
However, their lead is slim, and tenuous, with THREE challengers only 6 points behind (820 points): Dannyreed @bbed and AmericanCrow.

I'm annoyed at the Bengals for choking away my 9pt pick on them, and giving (nearly) everyone else a heap of points on the Ravens! Having said that, I had a shit week anyway.

Worth noting that RodneyDimes was ELIMINATED last week in DZE with the lowest score, and yet was top this week.
Just shows this game is all made up, and the points don't matter.
