ahhhhhhhhhhh, ac83 was a homer pure and simple. If Green Bay wins in week 1 and New England in week 15, I guarantee that TS wins it in his rookie year.

It was my sophomore campaign ;) I actually thin k I would have won the comp had GB won in wk 1 and also the Seahawks game.

Juggalo Balla doesnt sound like a rookie tho. He sounds like someone who has years if exoerience in tiping per se and imo could be like the "next ac83" a bit of a pro at it and wins a bunch of comps.

I haven't done footy tipping for the last couple of years.

In 2011 I did this knockout type comp. One tip per week and couldn't pick the same team the following 2 weeks. Most of the field was knocked out in round 5 for tipping Port vs Suns. I went against the flow and went on to win the comp in round 17. It was only a small side bet and I missed out on the real prize money for finishing top 3 in the overall tipping.

All my experience is with AFL. I've tried betting on NBA without much success and I know even less about NFL. Developing a strategy is no problem for me though so you have me figured out there ;)

I make my money in basketball and soccer. THere's that many matches you can find games here and there to make your money on.
AFL is a bitch, as some favourites get too short it aint worth betting on, while the more 50/50 games can backfire.
The thing with NFL is that there's 16 games a week and over half are always 50/50 with the remaining few being far from automatic.
If there were only 9 gams a week in NFL Like there is with AFL, a 7/9 would be a great week, 6/9 good, and 5/9 average.

Ac83 didnt do that well in other comps whilst tomatosaucelng did. Which shows he was more consistently a better tipster.

Still id give an arm and a leg to be as good as ac83 ;)

The dynamics of different AE comps, even though FIVE of the SIX comps are correlated, are just another way to bring variety accross the board.. with Sven tweaking the LCS qualification process a little more to really test the front runners in the mid-season.. sure to rattle the dice and make everyone accountable down the stretch.

With AC83 backing up to try defend his CR title, I think that asks us two burning questions.. will the NINERS be a better/ improved team with him willing to stick out his neck more?? Or will the slog in the NFC West be too much / ultra competitive that AC83 may reconsider being more conservative??

I was asked by the reigning 3XKO champ, today, whether I'm a shot at winning anything? my response... I have 'TEMPTATION' in my sights! :thumbsu:

The bigger question would be will people continue to underestimate the NFC West like they did at the start of last year.

You should win it. You're the only one that actually knows the comp and the rules. ;) :D

Hence, I'm my own KOD. But on the flip side, there are ...

others who are willing to throw down the gauntlet and attempt to lay the BIG CHEESE with indifferent strategies / teams.

I've already pencilled in SIX teams with 13 others to be determined for the remaining 4.

With the allowable maximum of SIX Play-OFF teams (from 2012) and a minimum of two six Wins or LESS teams.. the challenge is already here as I'm already plotting my weekly forecast.

I've already cast my preliminary 3XKO Week 1 selections with Chism (reigning champ) thinking different teams at this stage. Can see the dreaded 3XKO WRECKING BALL tear thru many in the Opening week. :D

I'll be working on my 2012 3XKO Champion review this week. Some serious bullets dodged by Chism.

Would be hard to fathom the Raiders upsetting the Colts in week 1.

Looking at the first week of games, they're all impossible to pick, so many will go Colts here.

But I say this game is a prime wrecking ball candidate ;)

You guarantee it ......he might as well French kiss the Grim Reaper

NFL scheduling the chiefs and jaguars together is not fair on 3XKO punters.

But, looking at the round of games a little more, you'd think the following would win...

Patriots over Bills
Dolphins over Browns
Colts over Raiders
Rams over Cardinals
Steelers over Titans

The rest are too 50:50

Pats over Bills........ Hmmm yeah they should but gee Buffalo could do anything and Spiller go crazy! Brady with a new offense etc = Teething problems.

Dolphins...... Yeah as well but no WR's apart from Wallace who will be mauled each week spells danger with a running game dependant on a rookie and a QB who is tentative. Browns are prick of a team to either go for or against in 3XKO.

Colts...... Yes and they will win.

Rams i am not touching at all!! Cardinals will be no push overs in this game.

Steelers another big fat YES!!

Every game in Week 1 is a nightmare so far though.

Hard to fathom, but Bills sometimes upset the Patriots in week 1. Just saying, there are potential wrecking-balls there.
Even Browns at home can't write them off, and the 2013 Dolphins can draw comparisons to the "dream team" thing, so they might be overhyped and stumble.

Miami's schedule is brutal and they could seriously be something like 1-9 after 10 games.

I did a write up preview on the 'Fins after I "foolishly" :D predicted them to win the AFC East.

Enjoy reading my preview.

Got an update from el maestro of the AE Tipping website, in particular, pay attention Chadwiko, JD says he'll be getting it up this week. (pardon the pun):p

I've forwarded the TWELVE rookie emails. Seems all systems are go folks!!
