A week out from All Out and we don't have a World title match?

Odd booking.
It’s Punk Mox again isn’t it?

To be fair whatever they were doing wasn’t working ratings wise so guess you can’t blame them for trying something out of the box to try and scrape over a Mil viewership on Dynamite and hopefully lead into bigger buys for the PPV with that different way of doing it?

Not saying I agree with it but they were battling a bit so try something different.

And they perhaps wanted to spice up the 'story'. Punk simply returning from injury at All Out and winning the title back is kind of boring and doesn't do much for Mox (like him or not). This makes it a bit more interesting and yes bit of a shot in the arm for ratings that have been ordinary. Would have been a bit better if this was taking place about a week or two ago though. This close to PPV not ideal.

Ladder match, no announcements yet so it'll be randomly thrown together. How many people is it, 8 + joker?

1. Darby
2. Orange
3. Claudio or Yuta
4. Black or King
5. Miro
6. Pac or a Lucha Bro
7. One of Cole and the boys (if any of them are healthy)
8. Archer? Ethan Page? Sabian? Sammy or Kingston (no idea what their status is right now)?
Joker. I guess MJF but that telegraphs the win and doesn't really make sense in the "story". He should come back as a bigger, standalone thing. If he's actually not coming back then, I dunno... Joe?

Danhausen for the Joker please :p

Will be announced Wednesday. Match is on.

So no announcement 6 days out from All Out, just a “trust me Bro” from someone on BigFooty.

Any company that can’t announce their main event a week out from their biggest PPV of the year is a sloppy shop IMO

Can't say I am excited for Punk v Mox again or even Danielson vs Jericho.

Feel like Jericho has had to many of these matches of late against some of the top end guys, would much rather see Jericho & Danielson both working with different guys whether its a youngster coming up or a AEW original that outside of AEW hasn't got a lot of traction that would help make them.

Not interested in the women's matches and the tag title match is meh.

Probably most keen for Starks v Hobbs and Cage v Jungle Boy and the ladder match has interest due to the joker or love to see Miro dominate and win it.

Overall a pretty average / disappointing card compared to a lot of other PPV's they have put on.

Claudio came in hot like super hot probably got a reaction that could only be topped by Punk/Danielson of the guys that have come across and I know he is a "world champion" but can't help but feel that they killed the momentum he had straight away.

Didnt the E just do this at Wrestlemania the biggest show there is with Austin?

Just because the WWE does something doesn’t mean it’s a smart booking decision.

I’m not sure why people feel the need to defend bad booking. No wonder All Out isn’t sold out this year yet.

It's not sold out as a few hundred combo tickets (with Rampage and or Dynamite access) are available and only just broken up. Single event tickets hadn't been available for nearly a week.

But why??

It's the pre show and is just about the perfect sort of match for that time.

Because it’s AEW is random thrown together is how they roll.

Not really. Good match up from an experienced two they know full well will get the crowd into it and have a firey competitive match. What else would you like on the pre show?

Would prefer to not have one of AEW's most over and interesting personalities stuck on the pre show against a guy that the vast majority would not give a shit about in a cold match.

It's better than nothing and would perhaps have been different if Kingston could behave himself. It will be a good pre show match. If you and anyone else can't appreciate Ishii that's your problem.

Weird field for the casino ladder match the only one who could win that is Claudio unless the joker is MJF or Miro but not convinced it’s either?
