Swans looked a shadow of themselves from the home and away season.

Could not name a single Swans player who won their position.

Not a single one who had any affect on the game.

I nornally dislike floggings in the grand final. However by the end of the game yesterday my cheeks were sore from smiling.

Watching the replay - it's honestly amazing how easily Brisbane players broke tackles, took hits, and just plain ran through Sydney players.

Almost no genuine physicality from Sydney at all.

Katy Perry was okay. She at least put on a busy visual spectacle and respect the courage given the buzz right now. The crowd weren’t really getting into it and I don’t blame them (I’ve never been a fan), but you can see why she was picked and that the money was well spent. Not just a dinosaur rocker standing there playing the hits. Tina’s brief two song appearance was also well done and age defying.

I tattooed "go dees 2021 flag" on my nuts and never regretted it.

Usually, the one you already have. Very fond of my "member + year" caps / scarves.

Apart from that, the DVD with as many commentaries as possible. Hopefully Madman Entertainment are starting to get their act together after some appalling quality releases in recent years. Love how they even put K-Rock on there for Geelong flags, but the frame rate and non-existent extras is just poor.

issue with grundy is that he often wins hitouts but they are just non effective taps to his feet where he then tries to do the ruck roving work. Used to work ok about 5 years ago but not anymore. He rarely takes a mark especially overhead contested marks. Big reason why pies moved him, just stupid we paid him that ridiculous contract

its a vexed situation. A combination of the ground, and us as a culture do not align with rising from the seats and dancing or nodding ones head to the beat of the drum. Sit back and enjoy without being too far out there.
