Why does bad kicking excuse an atrocious decision?
Why did North deserve to win when they were behind on the scoreboard? They were behind to a team that kicked 2 goals in 3 quarters, so why do they deserve to win?
Seriously, should they have called the game off at 3qt because North deserved to win?
Everyone brought up the same when Adelaide got robbed. Adelaide deserved to win that game because they were in front when the bullshit call was made. Same situation here.

It’s so inconsistent. Curtis took 3 blokes on and dropped it and nothing. Similar things happened all games both ways and then they pay that shit? No one is going to want to pick the ball up soon
The one where he was tackled high?

We deserved to win because we kicked the highest score. I hope this helps.

Ok North, good win fair enough.
But settle down a bit. You’re celebrating like you just won the flag - you barely held on against the reigning wooden spooners.
Nah. Those wins mean heaps.

Another bugbear of mine: senior players calling for the ball from inexperienced teammates when it is absolutely the wrong option like either Petruccelle or Darling (probably both) calling for Flynn to pass the ball to them, down by 10 with about 50 seconds on the clock.

The ONLY way you can win from there is backing the guy with the ball in his hand to kick the goal from 45m out, there is simply not enough time to pass to a teammate for an easier set shot and then kick another goal from the resulting ball up. Amazing how many senior players apparently carry themselves like it's primary school lunchtime and they just call for the ball regardless of the circumstances.

Both results today were essentially decided by highly dubious ump decisions, league is either the worst officiated in world sport or flat out corrupt, it’s embarrassing
AFL would say that the decisions were perfect, because they delivered the results they wanted.

Good gutsy win North, Eagles came and North stood up. And for all complaining about the free, Williams had the ball up the other end and didn't take his chances so maybe look at the Eagles decision making and not a properly called free. (He dragged it in and didn't try and get rid of it, alway has been a free)

The way the clubs wanted it changed you have to expect inconsistencies.

Eagles kicked themselves out of the game, but that HTB against Yeo at the end was ****ed.

He won the hardball, and got penalized for it? I'm sorry, but if the AFL sign off on that decision as "technically" correct the game is gone
exactly, let's now wait for ever-excellent missive from AFL House on Tuesday.

'The umpire made a technical error, but was unknowingly unsighted and/or, and/or.....(some BS excuse)'

AFL executives earned 1.3 million annual salary on average back in 2022...

...let that income-to-delivery on umpiring qualilty ratio sink in!

If you want to take a comment out of context.... Do you deserve to win because of the umpires giving you a win after you botched it yourself? I'm guessing you'd say yes.
