Multiplat AFL 23: Launch Thread (Xbox release date TBC)

STATE OF PLAY:

• The game is out for Steam and PlayStation. There have been issues with Xbox release and it is unclear when the game will be available.
• Big Ant are aware that there are playability issues & bugs at present.
• Content has been temporarily removed from the game to identify where the issues lie.
• This content will be re-introduced via patches in the coming days.
• Big Ant have released a summary of what is to be reintroduced, which can be seen below.

Mine is still downloading. Hopefully someone has better internet and can report back soon. I got a feeling the ps version will be much more like twisties version.

Well I'm done for tonight. An absolutely awful game on release. There's the odd beautiful moment that's a rare tease of what could have been decent. Played three games for three crashes and zero fun.

If I compare it with the two games Ross rubbished the most online, this is worse than AFL Evolution 2 but a bit better than Ashes Cricket 2013

I’m so gutted man. Was extremely looking forward to this game and it’s crashed during my first game.

Has potential to be a fun game but jeez it’s in a rough state atm.

Marking is worse than evo. CPU takes over and you’re basically spectating.

But geez even by the other thread's standards it isn't pretty reading.

They will patch it and the game will be great but that is the biggest issue really. They'll patch it. Games shouldn't be released like this. Whole industry problem.

Hoping the patch comes sooner rather than later

Don't get me wrong, I prefer offense to defense... But really offense looks great relative to defense.
