STATE OF PLAY:

• The game is out for Steam and PlayStation. There have been issues with Xbox release and it is unclear when the game will be available.
• Big Ant are aware that there are playability issues & bugs at present.
• Content has been temporarily removed from the game to identify where the issues lie.
• This content will be re-introduced via patches in the coming days.
• Big Ant have released a summary of what is to be reintroduced, which can be seen below.

Yes people need to have realistic expectations when buying a game that's not made with the budget of EA/2K etc... but what they've released here is a borderline scam. Things as basic and as fundamental as tackling don't even work.

If you release a game in the state Big Ant have, and on top of that you charge AAA prices... then you're going to cop some shit and that's 100% entirely fair enough.

once all this is fixed here's a cool feature i thought to add possibly rotating midfield line-ups similar to the second ruck and kick outs where you can assign more people to rotate through the midfield

The only thing rotating will be the purchase to refund.

Maybe I’m making shit up but if you have a ps5 jump into a women’s game, I feel like the difficulty is harder.

Also I like the commentary better in it.

I'm not chill about it though, I'm dissatisfied and disappointed. In saying that we have been given reasons as to why things are like they are and we need to be patient.

I noticed in Michaels streaming the other night the goal umpire signals a behind with the wrong hand. Has this been fixed in the released version?

On a brighter note, AI v AI gameplay is smooth as butter and is great to watch. Perfect for what I’m going to be doing too

I am so sick of reading the "its a hard day for Big Ant don't slag them off too much" nah man that's not it, they charged 100 dollars for this thing the same price as most AAA titles and have delivered a broken, borderline unplayable mess. We have had limited communication of what has gone on, no feature list or no real apology. If they want to be seen as a big dev it's time they started acting like one. This isn't the first time Bug Ant has acted this way the launch of AO Tennis was a complete disaster as well and their cricket games are riddled with bugs.

If EA released this would you be giving them the same treatment

Yep, this reminds me of AO Tennis and when that came out. A lot of promise but they can never get it quite right.

Seems like a small detail to be worrying about for someone that's not buying the game. I think there is more important things that need fixing first.

Yeah that shouldn't happen on "hardest" ever, let alone after only playing a few games. This game is gonna need a lot of patching up.

I just jumped into my PS4 game, even though no patch yet, just to see how it looks. I will say I'm quite impressed how it looks and runs, so kudos to the engine there. I really thought the PS4 would be limited to Evo 2 visuals, as that game can have a very variable FPS and some stutters.

Anyway apparently I'm absolutely awful at the game as the Bulldogs absolutely creamed me, was like 67-0 one stage, they tackled me plenty, but I couldn't tackle them, go figure.
