STATE OF PLAY:

• The game is out for Steam and PlayStation. There have been issues with Xbox release and it is unclear when the game will be available.
• Big Ant are aware that there are playability issues & bugs at present.
• Content has been temporarily removed from the game to identify where the issues lie.
• This content will be re-introduced via patches in the coming days.
• Big Ant have released a summary of what is to be reintroduced, which can be seen below.

I could understand bugs and the odd crash but constant crashing and the state of the actual game is far from acceptable whether it’s day one or not.

That's the complete issue though. They knew what they were releasing was broken, didn't have features that they said were included and still released it. They are not going to get any sympathy from people that just spent $100 on a game that is essentially unplayable.

Yes it was. It took months for a decent patch to improve the game to an acceptable standard.

I had never been so frustrated playing a video game than with that one on release.

Im sure there was a “patch” thread on bf for it too.

Couldn’t mark. Bumbs were overpowered. Games crashing constantly. Saved data wipes. It had it all.

first time, long time. maybe i'm doing something wrong but i've installed the game on my PS5, currently kicking at goal with dangerfield (which seems broken because goals are counting as misses) and when i pause it, it still says 'exit - installing 6%'. it's gone from 1% - 6% in the last 20mins. have i done something wrong or? haha

If you stand still long enough, they will eventually tackle you.

The switch player button doesn't work sometimes, neither does the lock on mechanic, handballs can go anywhere, no tactics.

Game is 100% not the full launch version.... there's no way an update isn't imminent... surely?

This is pretty insulting to the content creators, some of which are on this board. There is nothing to suggest this is the case at all and many of them have been very up front with their concerns.
