AFL wouldn’t give a shit mate been no promotion of this game whatsoever outside of a instagram post.Wonder what the AFL think about this debacle? Surely there's been some tough phone calls to the BA office.
Hard to say the writing wasn't on the wall. Many of us called out the red flags pre-launch and quite a few tried to shut us down.
Complete shitshow that the game is in the state it is currently, let alone how it was launched. Any chance of us getting a decent AFL game in our lifetime is dead now considering Big Ant were regarded as the great white hope around here for years

Yeah, about that...we made the entire game
If patches can be rolled back like what we've just seen, why couldn't the launch patch be rolled back when it completely ****ed up the game? How does this work? Genuine question, not sure how this stuff works
the gameplay engine is the same used for their other sports games, it even says so in the promo material.Every aspect has most likely been done from scratch, from the gameplay engine

Yeah I know that but I meant using that gameplay engine in an AFL game for the first time.the gameplay engine is the same used for their other sports games, it even says so in the promo material.
I honestly hope you're being sarcastic because that is a ridiculous opinion if not.AFL 23 is in danger of being the next ET / Atari or Superman 64 on N64!!!

Ross said the steam can be rolled back but consoles can’t.If patches can be rolled back like what we've just seen, why couldn't the launch patch be rolled back when it completely ****ed up the game? How does this work? Genuine question, not sure how this stuff works
How longs the patch been dropped for?A few observations
Speccies now around 6 per quarter....... I guess that's better than 16+ (3.5 minute quarters)
The player radar/map interferes with the set shot meter :-/
Players stutter on the run on occasion (kinda like the twinkle toes videos I've posted in the last 2 weeks).
In game transitions glitch (particularly the quarter time/half time transitions - like it'll stutter between the coach giving instructions and an empty center square.... likewise with the half time change over and you see the players in the rooms, I saw an empty MCG intersected with that cut scene video)
Still teleport tackles/marks
And players (and human controlled) still automatically speed up/slow down
L O L
ET was unplayable
AFL 23 is barely playable
BigAntStudios I assume your like confirms this. So why wasn't steam rolled back on day 1?Ross said the steam can be rolled back but consoles can’t.
Mine updated 34 minutes ago!
Image of the in game radar and the set shot meter blending in with each other
Opposition gets tackled......... gets back up and continues to run (yes that still exists!!)
I’m assuming the ability to change tactics prior to entering a match as that was missing after the tactics patch. What’s the front end tactics that have been added?
