Oh interesting. I guess it's the balance of player control vs realism. But anyhow I think there's a solution there for afl, hopefully included in difficulty sliders
 
Since the recent PS5 patch, players dont walk back on the mark and you just constantly get pinged for HTB. Big ass issue BigAntStudios and hope you guys can fix soon. I am stoked about tactics but this issue alongside slow ass turning and acceleration from players has made the game less fun now.

I definitely noticed my players not being paid marks too today. Play Now on Ps5.

Was actually thinking , cool i can now control a different player other than the one on the mark, then realised, hang on this guy is supposed to be on the mark!

I am being paid marks but then they don't walk back, then I get pinged for HTB immediately. Infuriating. I was having so much fun before this patch and was super keen for tactics.
 
Dunno why this Carltonblazingblues kid is downvoting my comment when I am a big fan of the game and just pointing out something that has broken the mark to kick mechanic in the latest patch. Talk about being a flower.
 
If anyone wants the achievement ‘keepings off’ just stay on the final score board screen after a game for 5 minutes and you’ll get it. lol.
 
So played my first game in a while to try out tactics.

What the hell happened to the movement? I managed to get a chain going that led to an open player inside forward 50. Switched to that open player to run and collect the ball but the player stopped running and I couldn't make the ball it just stopped. The opposition waltzed in and picked up the ball and ran it out of defence.

I'm out again.

Make sure you are accounting for footedness - left footers swing right, right footers swing left.


If you upload them to the Academy you could download it again, hoping you reported the Crash as then the team can look into fixing it.

the thing is that it was only the team, the players logo's and stadium stayed and only for fitzroy but i'm thinkng i might hav e got rid of them my self without knowing somehow

You’d probably know them better than me but from what I’ve seen
Forwards - Attacking
Midfield - Attacking
Defence - Full Zone ?
Play through the corridor
Kick ins - Wouldn’t have a clue tbh haha sorry

But I’d imagine overload left or right as it seems most teams do that

Pretty much what I’ve gone with the exception of still taking marks but good having them swarm when it hits the deck!
Getting some nice handball chains on the rebound too!
Getting smashed on turnover the other way though but that’s been the case since day 1
 
Main gripe with the patching is the bloody 10pm releases. Would rather be 1 day delayed and get them at 5pm to be honest. 10pm means I play 1 game, then by the next night I'm like no point playing with another patch about to come out, rinse and repeat

I think that’s more because of Sony being Europe based. Unless you’re on Steam in which case your point is fair.
Assuming the majority of BA finish at 5-5:30 so not sure what else would need to happen for a Steam upload?
