The ad looks to me like the old bloke is trying to pick up the teacher and forgets that his kid is there, hence the look on his face when they youngster pipes up. I mean, he had her giggling and all, was well and truly lining up for goal at that moment I would have thought.

Well, you tend to come up with these things after sitting through the bloody thing 50 times every time you watch the footy.

The Telstra ones are shocking. Pathetic, annoying and unimaginative. Telstra has always been rubbish at marketing - they trade on the strength of familarity and nothing else.
