BigPond is the downfaill of all things technology in relation to the AFL.
I've used Superfooty for about the last 2 years now (love the SC pts) but I find it's a cleaner and easier way to find news, live scores etc.

Just downloaded that Aussie Rules Live. Those CarSales ads are really going to shit me. I just might get rid of the app because of it.

Thanks killer bee for the advice on the apps. I downloaded the AFL Feeds app and I am very happy with it. Free no adds etc. Graphics need some work, but it is a good first cut of an app.

They seem to run regulare updates based on the feed back on the app store. This might be the perfect way for us all to get our dream app...who would have thought a developer that listens to customers :).

Here is the link again guys

I am a happy customer.

I'd probably pay $10 or so a year for the Official AFL one but no way would I pay $6 per month. They're kidding themselves.

Aussie Rules Live is what I use and am more than happy with it! :thumbsu:

Can someone post some screenshots (Fixture, Ladder) of the AFL app? I couldn't care less about audio and video, I just want something that shows the fixture and ladder primarily. The MMM app is my choice, although Aussie Rules Live looks a bit better with its latest update.

Yeah AussieRulesLive has returned somewhat to the useful and stable app it was last year. Not really sure what the Dev was thinking with all those useless gadgets in the 'Locker Room' view.

The Footy Lite app is great, nice and simple. However the Aussie Rules Live app is much better after the last update.

I just discovered this forum and very happy to see there is a strong user community around AFL apps.

I develop the third AFL app "AFL News Feed". I know it is not were some of the other apps are, but I am working hard to create something that is different an innovative. Offer something the other apps don't. I have read many of your comments, and it seems a ladder is important to everyone in this Forum. I have already built it an included it in the next release. I would love to hear more from everyone in this forum. Let me know what you want. This is a great place to write it.

If you want to check out my app please go to http://itunes.apple.com/au/app/afl-news-feed/id362010841?mt=8.

Any feed back is much appreciated. If you like you can give me 5 stars while you're at it:).

I have the app. I think it's pretty good. Supercoach and Dream Team "live" scores would be handy I think.

A TV and radio broadcast guide. Things like that might come in handy.

The selected teams each week? Just throwing some ideas out there for ya.

I have recently discovered a new AFL app. Well it is for junior football. It helps me track the statistics of my son while he plays. Very very cool. He loves having similar stats to the pros. If you want to check it out it is called Footy Stats.

I dug up a link off itunes to help

http://itunes.apple.com/au/app/footy-stats/id379601717?mt=8

Good luck.
Do you slap him around and tell him he's a failure when he fails to reach 30 disposals every game?

Hello guys, not sure if it has been mentioned here, so sorry if it is a repeat!

We have the official AFL iOS game released in the Appstore.

This AFL version is an adaption of the Wii version, and features : Quick Match, Custom Match, Career Manager and Competition Mode, life like animation, realistic ball physics, true to life 3D stadium, quality graphics & sound, fully animated 3D motion captured players, dynamic camera angles, Over 50 licensed teams from the AFL, VFL, TAC Cup, and under 18’s competitions, authentic club songs, customise players & teams, Achievements, Intuitive virtual controls, Very easy through to Legend difficulty and much more!

Indeed the game is aud$9.49 however we will not be charging for a 2012 version as this will be a major free update (and basically a sequel). I hope you can understand our position, and consider supporting us.
