It's your belittling of the AFL's outreach programs as evidence by you "just wanting to watch the footy". The game itself is a small part of the overall experience. Yours is a close-minded, therefore bigoted viewpoint.

See there friends, that is the problem as I see it.

By just wanting to watch the footy I'm supposedly "belittling of the AFL's outreach programs", because after all the game itself is just a "small part of the overall experience".

How bigoted of me in wanting to watch a couple of guys kick a leather ball between some sticks.

This definitely has to be Gillion, or that Mifsud spud. The game has been hijacked by weirdos that probably don't even like footy.

My porcentage break down of blame

Dank 40%
Hird and coaches ...all staff 20%
Players 30% for not asking questions and not listening to asadas offer
10% on the board ...they knew what was going on

So players will have a crack at other players ...its human

Is it right ? Probably not ...can it be stopped ....maybe

If seemed on had owned up form the get go and taken the 4 match backdated bans that we're on offer this would be all over by now and this is a non thread

That's actually a sad reality of all this. In 20 years, I can easily imagine Dyson Heppell going out for a simple meal, and someone sees him and shouts "Hey Hep!" then gives him the injection in the arm gesture.

It's too late to reverse that from happening now though. Attempting to censor sledging will only make it worse (in real life, and in here).

In Hawthorn's case our merchandise for 2015 we seem to have turned into another team (blue supporter merchandise) as well as going for the Power Rangers look with the clash guernsey. Marketers were consulted.............. club fans/members were not.
 
Even most essendon supporters tentatively agree that TB4 was probably injected in some of their players. However, shredder has played a big role in them getting away with it. Why blame generel public or other teams if you refuse to take your due punishment, refuse to admit anything and distroy evidence? They will boo. They will sledge. Deal with it. perception is, quite rightly that essendon distroyed evidence. Deal with people who will call you out. Democracy, freedom of speech etc.

Haha Most essendon supporters couldn't give a rat's about what opposition supporters think or do at the footy and particularly given the last few years. You overestimate how much your opinions and actions actually matter in the scheme of things, so 'dealing' with it is not a biggie. From a players perspective, I have been to a fair few matches this year and watched footy in the pub too. There has been next to no sledging or booing that I have picked up, just the odd dickhead in the crowd. If I can't detect it then the players certainly won't. It's business as usual I am afraid. Reading between the lines of your moralising little rant I think it's more an issue of you dealing with it LOL

I can see your point there, 20 years of witty jibes does seem like a long sentence for the crime....but there is a flip side to that scenario.

Imagine for a moment that Essendon's doping program didn't get rumbled, and they won a flag in 2013 or 14 while under the influence.

In 20 years time, when Hungry Hungry Heppo saunters in a pub for a meal, and has starry eyed fanboys like Lance Uppercut or DapperJong trying to buy him beers, would Heppell have felt the sting of a guilty conscience and turned the free beer down, explaining cap in hand that he doesn't deserve their generosity because he cheated?

Maybe he would, but I doubt it somehow.

Yeah "Distroyed" evidence is really what this is all about isnt it?

This isn't the 70s either, pretty sure there would have been more than just a printed version of the records, maybe ask ASADA where they went anyway, they received it but quickly realised it jeopardised there case, nek minnit, gone.

Is it about destroyed evidence? Or just complete lack of records to begin with? The famous spreadsheet, that some EFC supporters keep using to say we had records, did not start until May or June well after the injections started and was based on a email from Dank to Wallis once a week.. Not updated at point of injection.

No apparently its "distroyed" evidence, yeah the process was a dogs breakfast, no doubt about that, the bloke responsible was sacked and the club copped there penalties for all that, does that mean there was illegal drug taking? no, does that mean they blatantly cheated? no, after 3 years of extensive investigations and a tribunal process there is absolutely no evidence, none whatsoever that they took PED's and this second hearing will find the same thing.

Suggest you go and read the tribunal findings.. they actually did find evidence that it was possible that TB4 may have been taken.. just not enough evidence to comfortably satisfy them. To say that the there was absolutely no evidence is not the case.

They did find no evidence though that it was TA though and ruled this out, which is supposedly what was given...
