Murrumbidgee were up there with the best teams we've played this season and we were only a few players off full strength
 
Murrumbidgee were due to play Tuggers on Friday night at Greenway, but it was double booked and league was on.

The game was postponed to Tuesday, so it looks like Murrumbidgee may have used a few blokes who were going to play Friday to fill in and play Saturday - which is completely legitimate, you can play 4's before 3's, but not the other way around.

Seems a shame for Cooma, a win would have put them in with a fighting chance for that 4th spot.... Might be completely legitimate - does not make it right. I think a few teams will think about the Bidgee game a little differently after this result....

I didn't think the Cooma game was the one I would get wrong. But I called the Coota and Gungahlin wins!:D

I don't think cooma would have made top 4 anyway. They are so terribly inconsistent. Flogged by Yass then beat adfa now lose to Murrumbidgee. Only got themselves to blame. Jets are doing exactly what was predicted

Still backing Belco Freddy ? Didnt think cooma beat Adfa, Cooma have been the most improved side this year .

Hard to see it stopping too,There are favoured by there div 1 draw,Played Qbn yesterday in div 1 with the opportunity for div 3 players to back up and play div1.Next weekend the div 1 side play qbn again on sunday while the div 3 play yass on saturday giving them the opportunity to play down again.Again very hard to see the train stopping.
 
Looks like Gungahlin will influence the whole top four. They play ANU in the final round and if Coota can win their next couple it will come down to the GUNG vs ANU to decide the final spot!

Pity the train doesn't have the correct passengers on it. The boys that slogged it out all year will get dropped so the tossers who can't win a game in div 1 can play. They were helped out to try and increase and improve the comp. they have done the complete opposite. Why don't they just fold in div 1 and put one team in div 3 and win every game. Pathetic by the jets coaches and committees. I hope Yass flog them on sat. Would be good to see one country team in finals. Would love to see anu drop out. Southcab I'm still on belco but don't get to see many games so been going off results which isn't working too well

What are you going on about Freddy ?
No names standout to me as a stacked side , I know there a few that could play in the Div 1 side but pretty consistant side by the looks. I didnt see the game but would be interested to hears from the pies boys on their thoughts.

Good to see Harmen playing this week hope they can finish out the year.

Honestly freddy you get on here and call people pathetic and tossers and accuse people of stacking sides, but what do you base your commends on exactly? You source is the results?? That hardly seems fair.

As for the Jets Div 3 team, have you ever even bothered to read the team sheets from week to week to see who played? If you had, you’d notice that like every other team in the comp we have a few changes each week, but the core group hardly changes. And the side that beat Belco on the weekend was no different. We probably had a 3 or 4 guys that have played a Div 1 game before - mostly on the bench and wouldn't have seen a lot of game time - none that have played more Div 1 games than Div 3. It was not a stacked side. The guys that pulled on the Jets jumper and beat Belco (who are a very good team I might add) should be proud of their efforts, they played a great game of footy and they certainly don’t deserve their win to tarnished by some fool making ridiculous claims like you have. This issue has been done to death on this forum and no-one wants to hear your rubbish any longer.
 
I don't read the team sheets but I didn't think it was a stacked side. The two blokes that destroyed us through the middle are the same two that played against us earlier in the year. The additions, from what I could tell, were a couple of former Jets who pulled on the jumper to help out with numbers. Not too shabby to have blokes of that calibre coming in to help out but nothing sinister about it.

We were just beaten by the better team on the day - hope we get a chance to come up against them again in finals and see if we can turn it around.
 
wow i just heard from someone that was at the Gungahlin v Queanbeyan 1's game that the Gungahlin 1's coach quit his job after they got flogged because his players were too tired to play 1's from playing 3's the game before... wow

Couldn't be further from the truth Jectz. And there was only one Div 3 player that went up to play off the bench in Div 1.
