I got knocked outta tha finals last week, and this week i played with 3 players short, but i still managed to beat my opponent by 1550. BTW, the team i played was called 'ThickAir'

There's still the overall comp to get the highest points for the site and the weekly prizes of course.
I had two late withdrawals in Chad Cornes and Simon Black, on top of the fact that I was playing one backman short - meaning that all three of my emergencies (Deledio, Foley, Fevola) have all been counted and possibly conspired to knock me out in straight sets from the finals race.
I'm skirting somewhere around 1775-1800 this week, and I don't think it's gonna be enough to knock over my 8th placed opponent. if it takes 2050 and then injuries to derail my cause, then I'm not going to be at all happy.

Gees, the results are up early this round. Quite a low scoring round. In my weaker team, I scored 1867 and moved up 1,600 placed to be ranked 9,264th. I have a 50-point win in the Semi Final.
I have two trades to work with, one of which will be used to replace Nigel Lappin. My PF opponent also has Lappin, so it will be interesting to see what he does (assuming he has a trade left).
My stronger team really struggled and only scored 1694. Thankfully my opponent scored 1607, so I am into a Preliminary Final there too. Went down 400 places to 3032nd overall. Only the one trade left, which I will use to trade Lappin.

Well if I had played this week I would have beaten my opponent by about 400pts and the person that beat them I would have beaten by around 100pts.
Very disappointing for me to think that if last week I had kept only Deledio and Hunt as emergencies I would have won and next week would be playing off in a Preliminary

Only 1841 for me this week after 2149 last week. There must be a few tired teams in the top 1000 because I moved up about 100 places to be 1044th. My aim at the start of the year was to win my league and finish in the top 1000 so i'm on track. My prelim opponent only scored 1750 and has N.Lappin so I'm confident of a win.

Hmm don't know about Ricciuto. I traded him for Cousins last week, he has been average lately except for this weekend. On reflection, I'm spewin about that trade because I've only got 2 left and I have to trade for N. Lappin and I don't know what is going on with S. Black and Edwards???

I would look to get rid of Brown and re-consider your trades. Too much $ on the bench for no return.Drummond said:

Edwards is not injured as far I know. Every player is entitled to 1 shocker and he just had his on the weekend. I wouldn't hit the panic button just yet. Besides, the Crows play Collingwood at home this week, so his form should return.Unwritten_Law said:

Well, he's out for a week so that might upset a lot of people. Including me.
I got 1904 from 21 players, and with 2 trades left, have to get rid of Francou, M Williams, Goddard and J Brown. Are any of the last 3 playing this week...??
