First one i picked. Altho he started off going down in price, i knew he would come good. I always find it hard to choose my backs. Hence i also have Kozi down back.

Easier to choose my forwards. If i see a player who is FWD and BAC. Im bound to choose him as a back. Dunno why. Just do :thumbsu: :)

in previous years forwards >>> backs in scoring potential and depth. this year there is less depth in the forwards but they are still heaps better than the backs.

carazzo may actually be a steal in the backs ;)

With Kerr back and Petterd still on the bench I am thinking of trading out Salopek or Pendles for cash to upgrade other areas. Pendles has been extremely consistent as well all know but Salopek can do great things. His erractic scores over the last few weeks due to various injuries do make him seem less valuable though.

What to do?

Centreline: Bartel, Black, Kerr, Winderlich, Salopek, Lappin (Pendles, Petterd)

petterd is not good enough to start imo.

Yes but what hes saying is he has two good bench worthy/on the verge of keeping guys in pendles and petterd on the bench. Hes wanting to piss one of them off for cash with Kerr returning.

Some say Pendlebury will reach his maximum since he relies too much on getting goals (dont quote me on it, just hearsay)

Whilst Petterd still has a lot of growing to do for sure.

So it's your best bet. Check out their breakevens etc. Also whether u need that cash rite now.

yeah sorry didnt see pendles on the bench

trade salopek down then, hell lose heaps of value in the next few.

If you want to downgrade for cash's sake, i'd trade out Hudson.
But not for at least 3 weeks. He is just hitting some form. Will hopefully climb to 260+ in the next month.

Yeh i wasn't gonna do it until i need cash for the Riggio to someone good down back trade (Heath Shaw etc)

But why would u choose Hudson over Ryder?

Also what do u think about the Alwyn Davey situation?

Simple.
Hudson > Ryder
Hudson will be higher in value, thus the trade will be more worthwhile imo.
And as for Davey, Edwards is a solid reserve imo, a good WA kid. So I'd just go for a 69k nobody, unless you're willing to wait a week to see if this Gray kid is any good. Maybe consider Westhoff too.

Thanx mate. I was just worrying about doing this Davey trade cos Davey could go down a few grand and Mitch Brown (Next week going to be $15k+ more) but i guess the 9th fwd is someone im not going to use, so the wait for Gray could be worthit.

Thanks

Btw aint Edwards a VIC Boy? Hence he went back to Vic (Just before anyone scorns u on that :p)
Etha way, WA or VIC. With Thompson out for the year and him always providing a contest and scoring 50+ each week. I like his odds of getting a game. He just needs to kick straight tho

No probs mate. I might be wrong. In either case he is a good prospect - takes a good grab but like you said his kicking is a bit sub-par. I'm actually holding onto Davey for a few more weeks myself, knowing that he is likely to drop a little this week, but hoping he'll get back to his 50,60,70 scores soon.

If he does return to scores of 50, 60 and 70. Will he rise again in price?

If he manages to maintain an average of low 60s, then he'll get back to $230k
Av 65 will bring him up to around $250k.
It might not sound much, but an extra 20-30k can sure help when you want to trade. I'm planning to upgrade him myself, so it could come in real handy for me getting BJ or Riewoldt as soon as Huddo peaks.

FWIW - I'd be looking to upgrade Smith down the track. I also think you might be exposed in your centres and might to bolster that area - not sure King & Green can sustain their scoring. If you could upgrade a ruck to Cox or White in the future. Forward line is very solid.

Naturally, it all depends on how many trades left and what your ultimate goals is. Good luck.

I like it, especially that forward line. :D

I might get drilled for this one but i do not rate R.O'Keefe as a GUN.
He is consistent but he is not captain material and can go cold a lot during games.

I have three things to say about your team though:
1) YOU NEED DEPTH IN YOUR BACKLINE.
2) I can not believe that you do not have C.Cornes or A.McPhee in your backs at the moment.
Solid backs are hard to come by and they are arguably the 'best' two players to have in that position (except T.Lockyer of course).
3) Your rucks need some work. I have the same two players as you though.

do you think its necessary to have 3 playing ruckmen as right now i have cox hudson and griffen but am thinking of downgrading griffin for money so next week i can trade nablett for chapman, what do you think??btw my other ruckmen wont play, like sam jacobs or somthing
