Ok fellas, a "who to start":

Darcy against the Lions?
or
Ryder against the Eagles?

I am leaning towards Darcy at the moment. Mainly because i will have 6 players, not including Ryder, playing in the Friday game, and it will drive me crazy as it is. I also think Darcy going forward this week agianst the lions could be rewarding...

So, which one do you guys recommend?

I traded out Gibbs this week at his highest price he has been at all year, so why is it a suprise that teams still have him?
He will more than likely go up another 7 - 10 this week if he scores in his usual 50 - 70 range. I'm looking to downgrade him as well but there are no good options to pick up at the moment. Did you downgrade or upgrade him?

I'd say Darcy as he could be very good up forward against the lions, but he is frustratingly inconsisent. Ryder's been good in that department.

LUKE POWER -

Last year he was a DT gun.
Is he not as good this year with Lappin back in the team and black/stiller and Rischatelli all having improved seasons.

With plenty of trades and $$, im thinking of trading power out for cross.

anyone?

Power for cross is a ripper of a trade. Power's impact will not be as pronounced as last year, except 60-80's until the end of the season

just heard that judd did his ACL! its all over the main board like a rash but there's been no confirmation yet whether it is true or not.

personally i think having Lappin back will help his scores. experienced mids tend to share the ball between them. Power scored 97 in 3 qtrs against the pies, several of his possesions came receiving the ball from Lappin. he may not avg as much as last year but is still a gun. but if you have ample trades and $, Cross will almost def score more.

Ok so with X. Clarke coming back into the Saints line up do i drop Jesse W. Smith back to the bench or keep him in my starting 22?

At the end of round 12 i will have 3 trades left but my team would be set. I would have JWS, Hadley/Thomas, Griffin and Campbell/Hughes as my reserves.
Is that pushing it? (aiming for overall not league)

I havnt done this for a while, what do you guys think of my team (not after advice but if you want then go for it, more wondering peoples opinions)

BACKS: C Cornes, J Bowden, D Milburn, A McLeod, L Gilbee, J Adcock, N Bock (J Smith, X Ellis)

CENTRES: C Judd, S Black, L Hodge, S Burgoyne, D Kerr, R Petterd (J Selwood, B Gibbs)

RUCKS: D Cox, B Hudson (P Ryder, J Griffin)

FORWARDS: B Johnson, M Pavlich, J Brown, L Franklin, N Riewoldt, J Kositzcke, Al Davey (T Hawkins, C Hughes)

Cheers Guys
looks like clone number 10567 that i have seen on this thread....

about 18 of the same starting 22 players with a couple of different players....

With McPhee in doubt as well this week:

Im going to trade

L. Hansen for Frawley (Need back bench players)

Shaw for Sam Fisher (Avg 87.5 not including injury game)

This will leave me with 10 trades left, extra depth on the bench and a chance to pick up H. Shaw for JWSmith in the coming weeks.

Does anybody recommend a better backman than Frawley?

with some luck it is doable. how many points behind the #1 team are you?

First time i have posted my team.
actually like this team....
so many different players....
obviously king and smith need to be upgraded once they have stagnated money wise...
and hudson as well...
but once they have been upgraded with the different players you have got, i think that may set you up for a real shot at the weekly prize when alot of the popular players on all the clone teams have an off week at the same time......

1000 odd but my aim isn't to win it, only my second year. It is to get in the top 500 which i am only 100 off at the moment.

3 trades left is stretching it. i think 4-5 is the real minimum.

id need to see your team to see if there is any niggling injuries in there already. Plus the state of your bench players will matter.

I have to ask you all a question.

Is this a good idea?

Trade Richard Hadley for Martin Clarke.

Then Upgrade Nathan Ablett for Jonathan Brown. (I basically can any forward except Jim Hird, even the Chad, but then the next trade wont be possible)

then Im thinking about doing an obscure trade like trading Monfries for Didak.

then the following, I can trade Matt Whelan or J.W for Heater.

Then My team will be fully set.

Queries?

B.Johnson, Riewoldt, O'Keefe, Chapman, G.Ablett, Hall, Pavlich (Campbell, Hughes)

Not looking for advice so much as just comments of where people think I might be able to improve my team, already have my own thoughts but it always helps to have another opinion!
