Good looking team too. Would that leave you with three trades left though? Ive got a similar situation - my team is pretty much locked up, except I want to trade Hudson to Cox or White next week. To do so would leave me with 3 trades though. Not sure if I want to risk it, as Im only ranked about 3000 odd and would like to win my league.

who's more likely to play this week, hughes or hawkins? both named on extended benches.
Ill help you out for the next two weeks, get rid of those 4, and you'll be fine.
Ive been looking for info as well. Its 50/50 at the moment whether he will play or not. I would trade him out but he has gone down so much over the last 2 weeks i cant afford a decent replacement. Unless i downgrade someone like sandilands to say warnock and play ryder and hudson on the ground then i could trade out heath shaw but that is 2 trades i cant afford... Think i will have to gamble and hope he plays

first off... that is a sweet sweet team.
you have some good reserves.
shaw, mcphee, kosi in the backs would worry me for injury.
mclean is coming back from injury and something may be wrong with power.
rucks are fine.
forwards are fine.
id say 3 trades should be ok.

Ive got 5 trades left. Thinking of trading Selwood out next week and picking up Cox/White/Fraser for Hudson. Would leave me with anything from 20-50K in the bank for emergency trades.

pretty good team backline and midds solid as a rock and once you pick up cox your rucks will be fine aswell. dunno about your forwardline though franklin and edwards my disapoint you now and again....check out okeefe
well if your a bit light on trades maybe cox isnt the best option...he is a gun and all but hudson will be ok this year he should get some decent scores. i presume your using 2 trades to pick up cox, so if your worrying about that a better option might be to upgrade edwards to okeefe. could be better in the long run and you will have an extra trade up your sleeve.

defence i like - reserves a little weak.
midfield is solid as the egg says.
i would keep hudson for the next few weeks, hes in form and rising further. i made the mistake of trading him at 210k before he hit this run of form.
i actually dont mind seeing franklin in the forwards - he can just hit monstrous scores. edwards is the real worry.
so what i would be doing is selwood down to a promising cheap, young midfielder and using that cash to upgrade edwards or campbell. i agree with the egg again - get okeefe and have ample cash to spare with three trades left. use the cash evenly for injuries for the rest of the year. good luck.

smith, fev and burgoyne (which one?)/cooney are your focus.
what id do is trade one of taylor or hudson to warnock and use that cash on smith for shaw in a few weeks. u need a reserve in defence too. (not much money lost here)
cooney and/or burgoyne to an elite mid. (possibly a straight swap)
fev/franklin to okeefe.
so 4 trades.

I reckon your next move is to get either Cox or White in for Hudson. As for fev, he must come good soon you would think.

something else you should consider maybe is to downgrade a ruckmen to warnock, then depending on how much cash you have and how much barlow is worth upgrade him to shaw then move smith to the bench. by doing this you will have the edge over alot of other teams who dont have a reserve in their backline

There's a fair bit of inconsistency in the centres, so it might be worth cashing in on a bench player and bringing in a Cornes or Cross for someone like Cooney.

then downgradin king but i like the idea of downgrading taylor/hudson,
then i was definelty gettin shaw in , and taking out riggio.

He's running around in the Werribee twos atm. Haven't seen much of him, but if he doesn't get a move on, there's some on the Dogs board who don't think he'll be around much longer. Hasn't exactly been on fire of late.
IMO there's 1 or 2 years of development left in him, but whether or not he's in the long term plans is another thing.
A big maybe for next year.

give smith a chance i reckon if he is as good as they say he is he'll be worth keeping. we'll find out that over the next 2 weeks. doesnt your middfield worry you with rischitelli and burgoyne? you might want to pick up a gun midd for one of those. bock though, try and get him out asap.
yeah true when i played against him back in under 17's he was kicking 50 on both feet, had the leap of an antalope and could bloody run for a 6'5 / 6'6 tall person. bit skinny though that may be his let down lets just hope he hits tha gym! could be a future prospect for the bulldogs forwardline.
